Fern acquired 2 Castles in beginning of game and put an 8 stack at Scalovia. I concluded that Fern had Ragnit and Rhein. My first move was taking Windau and then proceeded to build a stack at Courland. I decided to take Memelburg and had a big stack there which deterred Fern. I then proceeded to take Mitau, Grobin, and Zemgale and then Saule, Carsovie and Kanaus. At a point both blue and green held 3 castles but neither had a +1 for 3 Northern Castles or +1 for 3 Southern castles. I concluded that green had Ragnit, Rhein, and either Dunaburg or Wenden, blue had Wesenberg, Marienburg, and either Dunaburg or Wenden. With that knowledge, I made no attacks and watched the log as they fought until a time when I could see that one had an advantage over the other. Green was the first to gain upperhand, so I moved on Ragnit. Then for a few turns I just hit the single on Nadruvia while blue and green continued to fight. When green still had upperhand after some rounds of blue and green fighting, I moved on Rhein. Once I moved on Rhein green missed 2 turns. After greens 2nd miss, I assumed he was gone(db) and attacked Selija to move on blue's castle Dunaburg. Green returned at that point, but I had 213 troops and from what I could see, green had maybe 80, blue also had about 80. Green retreated away from me and moved toward Visby. I think FERN knew the game was over and just wanted to make some more hits on blue. It didnt matter. Those guys were toast. I play this map all the time. I am a professional.
