The accused are suspected of:

Being Multis
Conducting Secret Diplomacy

Game number(s):

Game 23557904

Comments: Pothos has deliberately left 2 bonus borders undefended against large numbers of troupes against Jringe01, it is obvious that there is an agreement between them but nothing in chat.

I've already responded to this player in the chat, I've also opened a ticket to complain directly concerning his blatantly rude, paranoid, and intimidating behaviour.

He accuses me of colluding with someone who I don't know and have never met. While I joined this platform a little over a month ago to play R*SK online in closed games with my friends - not a single person I know is in this game. @KernowWarrior has an established history of paranoia and intimidation concerning other players. Though much of his feedback seems positive, he does react aggressively when players exhibit behaviour that he either doesn't expect or doesn't understand.

In a game that I will certainly not win -- I interpreted that the stalemate between two giants meant that for either of them to attack me, they'd lose enough troops to cripple their own defences. So I took advantage of that stalemate and ended up taking him out of the game. He then started an escalating round of increasing irrational accusations of "secret alliances" and collusions with some random dude based on the fact that he lives in the same country.

Yet, I looked through his ratings and he's actually done this before! This guy may be a good opponent in risk, but his vindictive and paranoid behaviour towards others, especially new players, is really a bit much.

My support ticket number is #860930.

I included within, a full log of our chat up to that point as well as the full game log.

You can also find more background on player KernowWarrior here: https://www.conquerclub.com/player.php? ... nowWarrior

Which was helpful in understanding why he behaved the way he did after he lost the game.

He just didn't read the moment well and got upset when he was taken out early, which is like: big deal. I'm always getting taken out early. This game is brutal for new players and players like KernowWarrior don't make it any easier or more enjoyable to play.

On 2007-10-12,

Player "Arnie", a private who shortly thereafter stopped playing this game, wrote:

Neutral "This would have been a Positive because he had a well played game. But at the end he got real paranoid and alluded to the fact I was real strong and blue did not do what he wanted that we must have been secret partners. Too bad because it was a great game until then."

It was some controversy over a 'blue' player who didn't finish someone off when he expected, which is weirdly similar to this case. Or maybe I'm starting to get paranoid too! lol.

After looking into the accusation, although understandable to have come up with it suspiciously, you can also accuse yellow for not breaking green through Lachine. Flat rate could also mean waiting for the right time and right condition to make just the right assault to turn the tide which looks to be the case for this game. Cyan doesn't look like he has any leverage to be in a secret alliance with blue. Feel free to foe and move on.
