Kazakhstan has some mountains and big lakes in it, right?
At least thats what it looks like from a map of it on Wikipedia....
Perhaps you could add in a few of those lakes and mountains to add some impassables to the map.
That, and the pinkish tan continent sitting right in the middle seems to be near-impossible to hold, without some huge amount of luck involved. Every territory within it, except for the one in the very middle, borders somewhere outside that continent, which means the entire place is basically one big border you have to defend. Is there:
A. a way to add a few impassables to make it easier to hold. (Lake Balkash would help a lot, making tan and bright red both a bit easier to hold.)
B. split it in half or something to make it not as difficult to control.
from what I see, the yellow, pink/tan, and bright red continents would be nearly impossible to hold, just because of how many borders each of them has.
Also, watch out for 4-way borders (where four corners come together in the same place).
like the TKS/Zhanga/Shym/Taras border. those can get a bit confusing. Unless that is exactly how it is with the political boundaries, I think you should try to make them not-4-way borders (just shift them a bit so one of the diagonals can touch and there aren't 4 corners in the same place any more)
