Alright, here's my second game. I'm blue, and I have three troops to deploy. Again, it's my first turn, so I think I should deploy two on A8, one on E2, and then fortify two from O1 to A7. Are any of those moves mistakes? Thanks in advance for the help!

try this deploy 1 on A8 1 E6 and 1 F4

fort or to A7

this gives you 3 places to pile and E6 may have to work over to usa

Interesting...F4 to establish a base in Africa and E6 rather than E2 because it has more options for mobility?

If you notice E6 gives you 6 options to attack...you already have two different 1s to attack for a card. E3 only gives 3 options. Neutrals you don't attack unless absolutely important to do so.

This will be an interesting game to watch to see who will try to go for which bonus. I would put all 3 on S2 and soft attack 1 time onto S2 and fort everything up if successful. This would put you on the boarder of North America and make yellow think twice,Maybe, of trying to take SA.

Thanks for the tip, Iron. I tried the South America maneuver you described, so we'll see how that turns out, how yellow responds.

Well, I am
blue and I have three troops to deploy. I'm thinking I should deploy one on E6, one on F4 and one on A7, then attack A3 from E6 (no advance). That way I get a card, boost my African and European territories, and boost A7 in preparation for moving closer to A1. Oh, and, Iron Butterfly's idea in South America worked...yellow backed off. How's everyone feel about that?

I went ahead with that plan since I was running out of time. Let me know if I need to fix anything. Now that I'm looking at the strength of the territories around E6, I'm wondering if it would have been better for me to take the card on S2 from S1.

Three troops to deploy, I'm thinking two on E6, one on N7, attack and advance to N4 from N7. Sound good?

Sorry, I don't know what I was thinking when last I posted--either my eyes were playing tricks on me or I was looking at the wrong game  . Good thing we have you here to keep things sane, wacicha. Anyway, I moved to A2 as per your recommendation. Thank you.

Ok, so three troops; I'm tempted to deploy all on A11 and advance to A12, just because I'm getting so crowded from A7 to A11. But I could play it safer and deploy two on A2 and one on A11, then attack E6 for the card. What say you?

i would take E6 and advance into that spot, maybe drop 2 on A2 for this attack on and drop 1 in S1? maybe red might be a target more later, so itĀ“s interesting to stay near him in Europe, and you can still reach all important spots in Asia

Hmmm...interesting. I guess that makes sense, since between A7, A11 and E6 I now have Australia, Asia and Europe covered, only one step away from Africa, and by keeping S1 strong I have the Americas covered. Good thinking, Seul! :geek:

Ok, this is where it starts to get tricky, and I really need some help, since this is the first time I have to cash cards in a Terminator game. I will have 18 troops to deploy. Private 1st Class infurior killed my E6 last round, so I suppose I should deploy maybe 10 on A2, then three on S1, three on A11 and two on A7. Then maybe advance from A11 to A12 to get closer to N. America. At this point, since I am the weakest player, I shouldn't really make any bold moves, right, just spread them evenly and keep myself strong :-s ? Although after I deploy, Sergeant tabatharose will be weaker in terms of troop strength and number of regions, her three regions are too beefy for me to take out.

sounds pretty good but lets do 5 in A11 and soft attack your move to A12. 10 A2, 3 S1

Ok, Cook el jejene decided to eliminate my A12 group, and I have three troops to deploy, so I guess I should deploy two on A7, one on S1 and attack A1 for the card. Sergeant tabatharose, however, is getting very weak...down to one region with nine troops. Should I instead take the card from S2, then fortify my A2 group to A3 in preparation for a kill strike when I cash cards? Or is it too soon to be thinking about that? O:)

ok look carefully, pink gets 9 bonus men that is enough to take out tabitha. yellow also has a 9 bonus enough to take out tabitha. this is where I myself pray to my dice gods put all 3 on A2 weaken A5 with troops from A7. Remember when there are only 2 troops left you Have to switch to A2 troops keep praying. go A5 A4 then Tabitha. If you can not get there then stop. If you get her you got a set AND points.

or play it safe. and wait. you have less men than anyone so wait will not be long

Don't look now, but somebody just made his first termination :-$ . Your plan worked brilliantly, wacicha, and the dice gods shone their glorious light upon me. After I took tabatharose's cards, I was a bit apprehensive; I thought about rolling on after pink, but I didn't want to push it, so I split my reinforcements evenly among my three bases and forted my attacking troops back to A2. Was that the right move?

Ok, here's my dilemma. I am pretty well set up to take out Cook el jejene. I have a three-card set which I can cash, and with my bonus I would have 38 troops to deploy. I would put six on A9 (which will also get the two-troop card bonus), and the rest on S1 for a 53-stack. I would take out A8 from A9, A6 from A2, then from S1 move: N8, 7, 6, 3, 4, 9, 5, 2, 1, A12, 10. el jejene only has two cards, so I won't be able to replenish my troops mid-turn, and I will end up with three cards (maybe a set, maybe not), the same amount as both Private 1st Class Justshutitoff and Corporal 1st Class infurior have (and the same amount I started with). However, I will get the points, a bigger deploy-bonus and I'll have one less opponent to worry about. If I don't take him out, I let him get stronger with his 9-troop bonus. Also, if infurior has a three-card set, that with his 8-troop bonus gives him 43 troops to work with, possibly enough to take out el jejene himself, and possibly enough to take me out if I spread myself too thin. Basically, I see two possible outcomes for either decision I make: If I take him out: 1)I eliminate an opponent, get points, prevent someone else from getting stronger, get a better deployment bonus and break even with cards. 2)I risk spreading myself too thin and exposing myself for someone else to take out. If I wait: 1)Everyone sits still and gets stronger, making it harder to take anyone out. 2)infurior takes out el jejene, possibly spreading himself thin enough for me or Justshutitoff to take out. I whole-heartedly welcome opinions on this matter.

here is my thinking Cash and put 10 on s1 and the rest on A2 hit and adnve to s 2 .

reason - make yourself to large to take out and set your self up 2 take out whoever does not cash in with 4 cards and your new card next turn. I am thinking the cook will take S1 which will give you access to him if needed
