Ok, so let me know if I'm on the right track here: I think I should deploy two on N4 (sweet, dropped it) and one on N1, then fort both N8 and S2 onto S1, and fort E3 onto F1. Eventually I'll work N1 into Asia; F1 can be bumped over to Asia or Europe if necessary, and S1 can bump over to Africa if necessary, or he can stay put.

agreed about most, maybe you consider to drop 1 N4 and 2 N1, because N4 isn´t so important for you here, you have N1, N8 and N4, but you aren´t in Asia or Oceania, so your gate to Asia might be more important. pink got screwed by drop, nearly all in Asia, possible that he will be the main target for many players, perhaps somebody will hang him early in the game. So be sure that you stay in Africa too so you can get him. It´s never too early to think about targets, but you have a lot of time to get a path to Asia)

or what about drop 1 each in N4, N1 and Western Europe (E3)? green will perhaps fort Northern Europe (E4) to Ukraine (E6) so you can take N.Europe. For this , maybe you don´t fort in Europe/Africa yet, so you can get North Africa (F1) and N. Europe (E4)

ok Noddium is a part time Cook student. As you can see he does part of what we teach and part of his own style. Also Iron Butterfly is a Teacher. He gets irritated with big Piles next to him. So when he gets a good pile he tries his luck with the dice against piles/ If his dice is good your pile shrinks. If his dice are bad he stops.

Noddium may try for s. America so watch your pile. Move it if he starts taking over.

Your plan is good, But you may want to do Suel's first option.

That was a quick round. Anyone disagree with deploying one on N4, two on N1 and attacking S3 for the card?

How about all on F1 and move to E7.

Ok, this is a little bit tricky. I was thinking of deploying one E7, two on N1, then hitting N2 for the card, but Sergeant ProfElvis is starting to get weak, and I'm wary of making him an easier target for Lieutenant dragonboy or Corporal noddiem. So then I was looking at deploying one on N1, two on E7, then hitting E4 for the card, but I don't want to cut off my own access to ProfElvis, either. Should I deploy one each on N1, N4, and E7, then chill? Also, should I try to save S1 at all?

I suppose I should deploy one on N4, two on N1 and hit N2 for the card. I'm concerned with doing this, though, because noddiem is set up to take out ProfElvis, and this would make it even easier for him to do so, but I don't see any alternative. Any thoughts?

3 on E7 then hit E4. Do not advance. This will give you a good group to hit A1 next turn.

I realize this is short notice, so I'll probably end up just going through with this plan: I have to cash, I'll have 18 to deploy; Six each on N1, N4 and E7, advance to A1. I don't think I would quite be able to take out Elvis, so that seems like the safest move. Should I do, or should I have done anything differently?

Ok, it's getting juicy now, and I need some advice. Last turn I terminated cyan (partly because he was the weakest player, and partly because he was a smart-ass; bumped him down a rank--that'll teach him to sass me ;) ), gaining 28 points and breaking even with cards. Incidentally, the times when I have the most questions are right after I've eliminated someone, when I have to decide where to redeploy and how to proceed (but I don't have enough time to post a question here and get a response). After I took out cyan I tried to go after Corporal Shabel (this was before he had cashed), but the dice were not in my favor, so I forted to give myself a big stack and another stack, and hopefully set myself up for someone else. Captain Iron Butterfly responded wisely by eliminating the strongest player, dragonboy. He now probably has a set in his four cards, and blue and Shabel each have three cards, possibly sets. So I only see two options: 1) Deploy three on N1, pray to the dice gods and send half the big stack to A12,11,8,5,7, O1-4, and the other half N5,9,7,6,3, E1, eliminate blue, take his cards, redeploy 50 troops somewhere, and end the turn with more points and four cards, maybe a set. Iron Butterfly's only option (if he did cash) would be to go for pink, and hopefully he wouldn't be able to finish me. 2) Play it safe; deploy three on F3, hit F2 for the card, pray that it's red or green, and hope that no one else can cash. A little help?
