Or any mentor, really. I'm flexible. I've played risk casually since I was a kid. I'd have played more, but until I stumbled across this site, it was a multi-hour commitment just to play a game. Who has the time? So I'm loving the casual games.
So anyway, I've completed a few games. Won one, competitive in others. Shouted obscenities at the dice and cards in one. I'm in a dozen or so games at the moment. It'd be cool to hear an experienced player's opinion on each round, so sign me up.
I much prefer flat-rate spoils to escalating. I expect I'd prefer no spoils over both, but haven't played one yet. The dice provide enough randomness for me. Don't really need the spoils to do the same.
So how's this work?
