Something like what is on Yugoslavia map does not fit this theme. so they will be staying.

I spoke about graphics - sea connections in nattyĀ“s Yugoslavia map. about which theme you spoke?

I was speaking of the sea routes from Yugoslavia. Anyways, a couple little tweaks here and there namely the dot on the army circle in the Yellow Sea is gone, and increased the font on the territories a tad bit on the small.

isaiah40, you've attended to everything requested, onya !..and the map looks good.
now, i would like you to consider what colour is out of place in the grand scheme of things on the map... for me it is the white.
the predominant colour that pops at me is the yellow, and there is nothing wrong with that because it matches well with all the other colours except the white.
If it was me, i'd be looking for a cream, vey pale off yellow that would just lift the map to another dimension and give the overall blend that top quality.
But i will understand if you don't want to go there.

I totally agree with cairns here, things like the glow on terr names would blend much better with the rest of the map if the were tinted towards cream/yellow rather than white. In fact, unless my eyes are tricking me you already have a creamy/yellow glow around the 'Fractured China' title. That glow to me looks perfect and would work well if incorporated into the rest of your terr names.
What do you know about map making, bitch?

Here is the minor change to both. I also increased the font size a bit on a couple of territories.

isaiah40...sorry good friend, it's all the white including the territories, army markers, dotted lines and piece in the legend that i was referring to. i think the barbed wire might be OK to leave white.
What you've found there is a good colour i feel. :)

Oo! A very nice improvement to be sure! One more nitpick from me :D

In the Capitals section of the legend, the "+6" is not spaced the same as "+14" and "+11" and the font size of "+3 for 2" is larger than the others.

EBWOP: The "+5" after "RUSSIAN FEDERATION" in the legend is also spaced differently. And perhaps you could consider angling Korea in the legend so it's less vertical? You could fit it between Manchuria and Wu. There's plenty of space to the left of it.

Names aren't showing up all that well. Especially small map in the Ocean...

isaiah40...what happened to the glow on sea text and story on the small map.
Those free city territories still don't have the same colouring as the piece for same in the legend.

Agreed, I was more in favor of the brighter white. I think it is more functional, and I don't think it detracts from the aesthetics.

If that is the case, you could add a 1px cream stroke border around the names to help bring out the terr names in those areas.

I think I'll change back to the white glow after I try the cream 1 px stroke gimil suggested.

I don't really know what happened to the small, so I just went back to the version before and redid the sea territories, story, and the little items Sully mentioned. I surely hope this is better.

The stars appear to be a little distorted.. is this just an optical illusion? From memory they look to be a completely different shape from the stars on Fractured America?? (Well, obviously not completely different, as they are still star-shaped, but you know what I mean)

"+3 for 2" is still a larger font than the rest of the "+X for Y"s under the "Capitals" section. ;)
