to me, a web space could be interpreted as either a territory in the web or a whole continent in the web...


I don't think you need to say that the blackwidow has normal borders.


I think I suggested earlier that the coffin impassable also serves to block Wolverine from Jack O Lantern Manor (still spelled Latern) because it'd drop the number of borders on Animal Farm from 5 to 4 which I think makes another more holdable continent.

Bonus suggestions:

T'Stone Terrace: 3 (it only has 2 borders from 3 territories and 2 continents)
Animal Farm: 5 without my change. 4 with my change (6 territories borders 2 continents and the blackwidow)
Death's Door: 6 (all 6 territories are borders might even be worth 7)
Witches' Way: 4
Dragon's Head: 3 (4 territories with 3 as borders against 2 continents)
Wizard Ward: 5

Spider: +1 autodeploy. +1 for every 3 territories you hold under the web

Yea, meant that I think you should make it less. Currently Animal Farm gets the same as Death's Door while the latter has 6 territories, all which border other continents. Animal Farm only borders on 3 territories. It seems uneven for their bonuses to be the same.

this looks awesome :)

small graphical note: I think it would look better if the wizard hats wernt all shaped the same... as in, the tops maybe folded diferently or pointing different ways, as it is its obvious copy paste over and over. a VERY minor thing lol, cant wait to play this on Halloween ;)

I did take into account all the attacks. The only one I discounted a little was witches' way and the witch (in terms of being attacked not where it can attack). Some might argue all that makes it a +5 continent but I'm not so sure.

You've switched the symbols on Bat Wings and Blackcat Mews which makes Animal Farm worth even less (the +6 was a mistake maybe?)

It's now 6 territories with 3 borders and can be attacked from 5 territories. 3 coming from Death's Door. I'd say +4 makes more sense now than ever.

Mmmm thanks natewolfman...i prefer the hats all the same way for the sake of uniformity, and appearing less messy all over the place.

Giving the map a graphics stamp might get the gameplay discussion going.



To me, this map is at a place where it's never been before. The Graphics are done for one. The riddles/legend makes sense / is not confusing for the first time. Just the bonuses need to be hammered out. Let's get some of those high-rankers in here to discuss the gameplay.

Sorry cairns for being slow getting back to you.

Since Sheelbe Buggery has the arrow pointing to it, it needs to move to the right a bit because the white text is hard to read in the white castle color.

Changes:
1. Added "a Salem Cross" to the riddle text
2. enhanced the continent text on the sign
3. added glow to the sign light
4. tiny alteration to the stars
5. tidied the borders in a couple of places
6. removed the shadow from the salem crosses on the map so that they now look more part of the map
7. tinge of dark foreshore wash to wiccan beach

I'd still like to tidy the graves up and give them better perspective. :)

Is it possible to get a little red/pink in the moon area to make it more clear that Wicked the Witch is part of Witches' Way? Maybe it'd make it more spoooooky

How this? applied a colour overaly at 25%...it's that blood red moon!

I'm so glad there's a seasonal map in production - I've been dreaming of making the North Pole for months, but I can't find the time.

Colors aren't so good for me...in fact they're really bad. I can't tell what goes with what. :cry:

From reading the legend, I gather that witches can one-way attack skeletons, and the crosses can one-way attack witches? I'd hate to be a non-native english speaker trying to figure that out.

The Spiderweb thing really throws me... hold the spider and any two territories from any of three regions that I can't figure out because I can't work out the colors. And I'm not really sure what the spiderweb bonus adds to gameplay - my overall impression is that since this is a novelty map that is likely to get the most play around Halloween, you should keep it as simple and straightforward as possible. When I stumble home drunk from the halloween parties and start a game on this, I don't want to have to think about what combinations give me what bonus, and who can attack whom remotely and from where.

Cauldron Bubble can only be attacked from Dragon Snout? And the tombstones can each only be attacked by the Tombstone Terrace? Seems like a lot of easy territories to defend.

Impassables: maybe you could switch around the order of the wording to keep "Jack O'Lantern" together.
