Animations will return - gimil is going to do them once the rules are set - it takes a bit of time to do the animations - so it's better to only do them when the rest of the image is set.

Agreed.

So that you understand what Tack is saying Gimil...

In the upper bonus bit you have the 7 in a row = 4 example.

We reckon remove that from there - and then you have it in the lower example...

Also - this gives you the space to align the ='s signs correctly as they look funny not in a nicely ordered column.

I think including animation in 'rule 1' completely confuses the issue ...
Just animate 'rule 2'.

I agree. Though I think you should attempt to make it also clear without animation, as I know a number of users have animation turned off.

The only person I know that turns off animations is a monkey called andy :P

Ill remove the rule 1 animation and change the animation so that the first frame shows the white dots, so that those who dont have animations still see whats what with the first frame which it will stop at if you dont use animaions.

Gimil...looking very nice now....'cept....can you space the legend out now so that it fills an imaginary rectangle whose borders are in line with the projections from the major side of the board. e.g. move the whole legend down so that bonuses lines up with top of Conquer 4, and then space out the legend a little more so that the bottom of the attack diagram is in line with the bottom of the letters...this is really picky stuff but will give you good appearance for executed correctly...
All this providing you are finished with the legend changes.

I reckon Legend is done - and is pretty conclusive - I don't think we can take it any further - although I'm sure we'll still get people asking about the rules anyways!!

I do find myself reconsidering the legend text:

(a) "BONUSES"
(b) "Two Conquer 4s may share one space"
(c) "Two sets may NOT share more than one space"

would perhaps be better as:

(a)
"BONUSES
Conquer four spaces in a row"

(b) "two rows may share one space"
(c) "two rows may not share more than one space"

... ?

I know this steps back from naming a set/row of four as a "Conquer 4", but this is fairly heavily implied from the map title anyway.
I feel the above wording may be better from the user point of view as highlighted by yeti.

As long as the legend is clear without animation too. :D Animation shouldn't be a requirement to play a map. :D
