Deadbeating

Postby patrickaa317 on Sat Oct 12, 2013 9:48 pm

I think missing three turns in a row is quite forgiving. What are others thoughts on this?

I'd be ok with if you miss two turns in a row, you are done; or 5 total over the course of the game. (obviously currently existing games should start the count at 0 at time of implementation).

The one thing I'd worry about reducing to two misses in a row would be possible abuse in team games. Perhaps there is some sort of delay on transferring the territs from one player to another? Is transferring a deadbeats territs even the best way to handle deadbeaters in team games?
taking a break from cc, will be back sometime in the future.

One of the things we're going to revisit under this administration is the rules on deadbeating. I will soon open a topic soliciting input on this, asking people what they think are the best of the plethora of options we have. But this will have to wait until after we solve the medals issue.
