Consideration of gameplay that depends on turning retainer tribes or territory troops to join your side:

    Specifics/Details:
    • Instead of zombie spoils, have all the troops turn your color.
    • Or have 'tribal headquarters' that if you conquer them all the related tribe territories will turn to your side and fight for you. Either as a polymorphic that changes ownership, or neutrals you can activate.

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
    • It would be an interesting new way to play the game, and simulate some real life situations like when the Romans made deals with Germanic tribes, the French-Indian war, etc.

That'd be interesting. There's also an alternative to directly taking a tribe--e.g. there could be a capital which has access to 'territories' (i.e. features that are 'off' the map). One could be "Bribe the Germanic tribes," and it would be a 20-stack neutral. Upon holding it, you get the Germanic tribe the next turn.
