[VOTE] New setting => CRAZY mod

Concise description:
  • Crazy mod = Settings like reinforcments, trench or not, and type of spoils (flat, esc, nuke, zomb) will change EACH ROUND into a game.

Specifics/Details:
  • It could be choosen as a setting for any game into the "Start Game" page. Of course, when selected, another reinforcment, trench or not, another spoil type, cannot be selected.
    It's a kind of "random settings" but EACH ROUND into a game

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
  • This setting could give huge possibilities to many maps. And also can make crazy many players.
    For example imagine you're ready to cash your spoils, you hold 5 and the round change to nuke instead flat or esc, and you nuke yourself.... or maybe you have enough reinforcments to put a player out of a game and the round passes to trench.....

I don't know if that's been already discussed but I didn't found anything about this.

to be honnest, not sure i would like it as this would be the pinacle of luck based games with no possibility to make any strategical decision...
like if suddenly you have a trench mode that activates and you cannot go break some series of bonuses...
or what would happen to escalating? let's say the trade is at 10, then goes nuclear, then escalating again... the next trade is at 4 or at 12?

i don't know, i think a game needs some form of consistency. i think the only way this could be any fun is if it follows an order and is not something random. like rounds 1-5 settings 1; round 6-10 settings 2.... etc and it's always the same patern. so you have time to anticipate and readapt your strategy.

I'd be fan. Not to know what will happen next round would be really funny. Less strategical for sure but terribly fun.

I was thinking more like very time a set is traded next one is different.

So you can have predetermined order of spoils in a game that you pick on start if the game.

e.g. nuc-esc-flat-zombie or any other combination from minimum 2 spoils to max.

Add to this that the game should randomly switch between regular and poly, players should get randomly reassigned to different armies, number of troops on terts go up and down, players swap cards, players get kicked out and replaced with new ones not involved in the game, website turns upside down and game switches to Monopoly, etc.

Yes Betiko, maybe you will not play this type of game, but don't you think it could be a new interesting mod wich will give new opportunities to play some maps?
Indeed it could be a total chaos.... But fun ;)
I agree your comment Thorthoth, and yes I presume there also will be a medal if this setting is created.

Say again, you would have to make a NEW strategic decision everyturn. That, I think, is the attraction. The idea that your old plan has just been tossed out the window, now you have to think again and make a new plan.

Except you can’t make a plan, because you have no idea what the settings will be on your next turn.

Indeed guys, that's why the crazy mode could be really fun to play.
Of course you cannont know what is the next setting but you can imagine a solution or a way to do for any kind of setting. And organize yourself when it shows.

I'm waiting for the people who think flat rate is the least luck-based card type to come here and say this would be the most strategical and least luck-involved game type.

I'd be fan.
I'm here to play for fun. And this would bring some crazy games! I think it must be implemented in CC, but in first time only for standard, terminator, assassin games and not for team.

Not very easy to implement this... I doubt there is information on a turn level about the settings of the game. There is information of the settings on a map level only.

I haven't seen the database structure, but I'm 99.99% sure that its implemented as I say.
But if you push a vote maybe it will be implemented in some form, regardless of the needed efforts.

would be nice to incorporate a end reinforcement but dont take spoil button; otherwise might be commonplace to slow game with a 4 spoil set waing for the right type of spoil setting, fun option but waiting 24 hours to time out would slow a multiplatyer game a lot
