This is a great idea. Let everyone be able to send invites to games. It is a silly thing to have it as a premium perk.


As for retention, CC seems to go out of its way to do everything to keep retention low.

The suggestions is here for a reason. Instead of flippant answes as to why they can't do something they should easily be able to do is this day of tech, the brass should be polite, respectful and at least show understanding.

Ie listen to your customers.

At the very least a "click here to copy link to this game you created" would be a step in the right direction without changing anything else.
With that link l can share it in personal chats etc, and even if it's 24 hrs if you play against your friends hopefully non of them will drag their feet too much.

I've toyed with the idea of creating a competing site. Myself and a couple others have offered free help to make some of the improvements mentioned here.

I think the biggest difficulty is getting maps made that would hinder growth/retention. But that might be the approach to go to try and hold onto the player base that is still interested AND build it effectively into a thriving space again.

There has been a few “competing places” I have never checked any out. A couple crashed and burned.

While we apparently talk about all other things than the subject of this thread, can someone tell me the point of these f***ing ridiculous medals that everyone gets to "flaunt"?
To me they are as valuable as a fly's shit.
I mean, obvious effort has apparently gone into making stuff like that happen at some point.

I'm with you Paul but they are very popular, some members work at collecting medals.

Oddly I actually enjoyed getting a couple but also don't care about having them. I have joked about wanting to pawn them.
