If S&M wins Gallip TOP needs to win both of those, if the lose it TOP needs just one.

So this is not over yet? Looks like we end up with 3/4 points against OSA, and therefore will finish 3rd? I heard at some point that with 4/4 pts we would be champions.. but i really didn t follow..
Top can still beat s&m then?

Yes TOP can still win.

A couple weeks ago, they looked like they were going to loose 3-5 points in the last few rounds. They poured it on and pulled out some loosing games.

So if they win out, they win no matter what. If they loose 1 point to FALL, & S&M wins Gallipoli vs TOFU, S&M wins as they hold a tie breaker in game differential.

It is for sure hard conditions to be forced to win 4-0 against both TOFU and FALL, here in the end of CL8, to take down the championship

I'm not following our games, but hope at least we've been semi competitive (I've only been following the commentary here)

it looks like 4 more points for RET and 5 more points for ATN, so same number of points for ATN and RET fighting to avoid the relegation, for what it is worth, given that ATN will not take part next year, and we are waiting to hear the proposed new format, if any.

We have been discussing potential different formats and what it might look like behind the scenes. We still have some time before sign ups occur but hopefully we have something well in advance of that to show

I almost feel bad since we won't be participating next season, but thanks and well fought. It's kinda funny looking at OSA and PACK with their amount of wins, just a shit load more draws.

Shame we lost more than a fistful of great players during this season, and arrived at rockfist's initial prediction position.
nevertheless, it has been fun , and educational, and we enjoyed most of the less-dice-influenced games.
congrats to the winners in this tight finish and thanks for all the good sportsmanship =D>
