A New Age
I. the Bannermen - Houses of the Realm begin diplomacy
II. the Tavern - Houses of the Realm begin autonomous diplomacy / subterfuge
III. the Blessed
IV. the Dead vs the Living
The Dead become stronger and more powerful everyday. The Blessed have started to shower favor upon parts of the Realm. A new level of favors has been made available.
The Undead have spread over the Realm, and have left behind ancient undead Relics scattered across the Realm from ancient battles of the past. Only those who are found to be within the Undead's favor can find them.
The Living deal with a greater imbalance in the Realm. They must adapt or they will lose the Realm to the Undead. In order to combat this balance, the living have found ways to develop and advance in society.
Armies have developed riders capable of moving twice as fast as the regular units (x3 GP per Lord to upgrade)
They have also developed a system of self governance, removing the need to keep Lords within the Castle and City gates for taxation. Their fame, well established by now, is also no longer contigent upon Lords enforcing the rule of law.
Realms of the Livings' Lords may wander free from the original constraints and still collect gold + fame.
New Age FAQ:
Q: Who are the Dead / Living Houses?
A: The "dead" referenced are the Blessed and Favored Houses. They support the Undead cause. The "living" houses are all the cursed houses.
Q: How do the riders work? Can the dead houses get them?
A: No, only cursed houses can have riders. "dead" houses get additional benefits via favors and undead only relics. Living houses get x2 speed and self governance.
Q: Do we have to move two spaces?
A: No, you can move one space if desired.
Q: If we upgrade our units to riders paying 3 GP, then switch to favored, do we get to keep our riders?
A: Sort of, you no longer will be able to use the rider skill. But those units will remain "upgraded" and if you find yourself out of favor later, you will gain your rider movement back on all units that were previously upgraded.
Q: As a house of the living, will you show me on the map if I pass a undead relic?
A: NO, only the houses of the undead (blessed and favored) will EVER be shown undead relics if they travel nearby.

Related to the other game changes, all public and private pages have been updated by removing inactive houses (both "IcePack" inactive, and clans that decided to no longer continue).
All remaining houses are ACTIVE houses. Remember, the goal now is world domination. Last House standing wins (or the end of the year, whichever comes first).
