Schedule and Round Breakdown
Two rounds - Both Clans will stick to the CC8 tournament schedule for round 2 round 1 will begin on Feb 19th. After exchanges of games clans have 1 week to fill away games. Round 2 will exchange on March 5th and clans have one week to fill away games.

• Round One - 4 Dubs + 3 Trips + 4 Quads chosen by each clan + Tie-breaker (Trips Classic, sunny, chained, no spoils created by ATN)
• Round Two - 3 Dubs + 4 Trips + 3 Quads chosen by each clan

War Terms

• NO manual, freestyle, speed, beta maps, nuclear, zombie or "no reinforcements"
• NO limit on number of trench games
• 30 round limit on trench games
• Each map can only be used twice per clan and only once per game type (dubs/trips/quads)
• Each clan member can participate in a max of 16 games (excluding tie-breaker)
• 12-hour fog of war rule is in effect
• New settings that are implemented after the start of the Cup will be excluded from wars

Man, if we had nolefan5311 in our team I don't think we'd lose a game.

Delaying all dates for exchanging and filling games by one week - making a note in the OP as well.

Seems like our war is on hold until PACK sort themselves out.

Depends how drunk he is. Right now he's only had a couple of pints so he's £15/cup, but give it a few hours and he'll be around £3/cup.

I don't like Barcelona, but can see the skill and confidence required to adopt their play-style. Over time though it becomes boring and doesn't really develop, whilst other teams adapt to it. Their team hasn't objectively gotten worse, apart from maybe lacking Xavi, and yet they don't have the same repeated success they did enjoy for a while. I haven't actually watched any football for about a year, but I keep vaguely up to date on what's happening and assume their style of play hasn't changed.

Also, congrats to you on using the term football correctly.

That is your opinion and it is wrong, although rugby is a much better sport.

I prefer either a counter attacking style of football or a more direct style of football. Real Madrid is much more pleasing to watch than Barca.

I agree. I've preferred Real over Barca for a long time, probably also influenced by my preference of Ronaldo over Messi. Sure, outplaying your opponent with flashy moves is nice and all, but I'd much rather see a team win by simply being better at the basics and dominating with a more direct approach, like you said.

I prefer Ronaldo over Messi as well, but if he can ever get healthy and back in form I prefer Bale over all. There is just something beautiful about passing the ball ahead to yourself and flat out running the opponent to get to it, getting control over it and beating the goalie...and it takes more talent than people realize - that pass ahead has to be in just the right spot and to get control of a ball when you are running 35 kmph is not so easy I would think (I'm not capable of running 35kmph so...) and Marcelo is fun to watch too...his cross to Ronaldo against PSG was ridiculous! I'm not saying Bale or Marcelo are on the level of the other two, but when they are at their top levels they are still pretty awesome.

Agreed, although I think some of the things rugby players do is more impressive. Rugby Union that is. Proper rugby.
