Is there any way to leave a game?

Postby Elliott Spook on Thu Nov 02, 2006 4:07 pm

I can only have 4 active games at once. I like to get my Risk Fix and enjoy all 4 games. So what do I do when there's a game where one or more of the players doesn't even play and misses turns, leaving the rest of us to sit on our asses hoping for the game to move?

Is there any way to leave a game during round 1? If its not already allowed, I think that playing your first turn in round 1 should be mandatory, otherwise players should have the option of abandoning the game.

There are 2 ways to leave a game once it's started, you can win it or you can lose it. I prefer the first option.

While other players constantly missing turns is really annoying, there isn't much you can do about it other than not playing with them again in the future. If they miss 3 in a row however, they get booted out of the game which solves that problem.

Once a game has begun you can no longer drop that game. The only way to get out is to win or lose. We suggest winning.

The ignore list is very useful for this purpose.
I was a major back when 1600 was major. Now that I'm back, I get to easily win a bunch of games to get my rank. Thank the 'tards here who suck at this game.
