I must say that I feel that it is totally inappropriate and outrageously unfair to have people attempting to leech positive feedback when much of the time they have contributed very little.

Feedback should not be asked for, it should be given freely on the basis of merit without the recipient requesting it. To attempt to cajole or inviegel people into giving positive feedback in any way defeats the purpose of the system being put in place.

i didn't know what the word meant (spelled right or wrong!).

anyway, on games where the opponent played a real good game and i've moved on to the next game, i treat it as a friendly reminder to leave a deserved plaque on their feedback area. otherwise i'd probably just ignore the grubber...

I completely agree with you. Asking for a positive feedback, when you did very little, is like a little kid asking for candy when he didnt clean his room. You dont get a reward if you dont do anything.
