Town vs. Mafia vs. Werewolf

Postby MoB Deadly on Thu Jan 12, 2012 7:40 pm

Do you guys want to see a Triple Threat match??

Want to make sure there is interest in this before I do it, or if the community prefers my other style of games which has a lot more power roles rather than vanilla. Personally I hate vanilla and I try very hard to not include them in my games.

The setup would be: (and reconfirmed at signup)

1 Seer (detects werewolf only)
1 cop (detects mafia only)
3 vanilla townie

2 werewolves
2 mafia goons

(I think I will make this game slightly bigger if I am able to. Aiming for about 12-15 players I think)

Are there enough town? It seems awfully small. Maybe a couple more VTs?

One setup i've played before that is done well, is called the Wolf Hunter, and it's TvMvW. You have 4 Gunsmiths (A role that hands out guns, the guns have a 50% chance of revealing who shot it or not), 1 Oracle (Oracle picks 1 person at night, if the oracle dies, that person's role is revealed), a Vigil, 2 Werewolves, and a Thief (Non-killing mafia role that steals items).

Added role descriptions, because i'm unsure if they are used here >.>

You'll have to explain Vigil, too, I'm afraid, haha.

Are werewolves a recruiting faction or a killing faction? And if they are recruiting, can they recruit mafia?

Yeah I think I will do this to make the game bigger

Nope, they pretty much just act like mafia goons. they just submit a kill, the flavor is of a werewolf.

If that's the case, I think town needs to be both larger and stronger, 2 NK's per night can really decimate town fast.

All roles listed are in the game. (Vigil = Vigilante = Townie that shoots at night) So there are 6 townies, 2 Third parties, and 1 mafia. 1 Townie can kill at night, and 2 third parties can. Thief is a Non-Killing mafia that steals items. Think about it, you can't claim with Wolves that eat you. GS's don't have to give out guns. Total of 9 players. 6v1v2
