Ok so on this page post any themes you want to gauge interest for, if you want your set up for your next game checking (only by people that will not play) and if you have a good idea for a game, post it here because someone else may want to run it. Also If you want to claim any themes, eg. if you have writen roles for a Dr. Who theme mafia but don't want to run it for a few weeks, it will stop someone else jumping in and spoiling your hard work.

I'm going to run a theme based on Life on Mars the TV show in August

not sure if people from the US have heard of it but I won't have time to run it before my exams are all over and my holiday which I am going on a few days after my final exam is over.

i'd like to see an Xmen themed game, could make for some interesting power roles. not that i could make it, but if someone wants to grab the ball and run w/ it then please do so.

spin the first page should contain a list of claims, and by who. Also include a date, and maybe a limit of 2 claims per person. :wink:

I was thinking of maybe trying this, I want to see what people think.

One-day Mafia. 4 players, 3 vanilla townies, 1 mafia. Town cannot vote No Lynch, the day lasts until someone is lynched.

Thoughts?

Hence the name "One Day Mafia". The idea is people are more careful, and I think it would help people's scum finding skills and not be so eager to throw out votes.

Perhaps, but if you get a knucklehead in the game like H.H. or Dwight, etc... unless they are the scum it would be too easy for the mafia to win.

i actually do like the idea pretty much......

im looking to try and create a decently balanced 7 or 8 player non vanilla rt mafia game...which is proving tricky, i thought my first effort was decent....cop, cop, doc, doc, sk, mafia, mafia, town roleblocker....should i make the roleblocker a mafia...something different, new combination of roles?

Interesting idea cakes, but you will definately have to have patient players cause it could take a while.

Well, since people are laying claim to themes, I'd like to reserve the concept of doing a 24-based game. I have a whole concept that goes along with it, but it's damn complicated. Hence my desire to mod something a bit more mellow first... since pancake started his newbie game, and there's pretty much nothing but newbies in the WW2 game, I don't know exactly what I'm going to do...

Spin's newbie game was started first, and you know that we can't just have the same people around forever. What better way to bring them in than let them play a game first?
