It's looking like my life may be somewhat peaceful for the next couple of weeks, so I've decided to start putting together my next mafia game - Life of Brian Mafia.
However, writing the roles for the game will be an involved process; thus, prior to doing so, I need to have some idea of how many people are interested in joining. Plus, there are several large games running concurrently, so I need to know if I can get enough players to make it work at all (or, whether or not I need to postpone the game).
So, to get started, let me describe the game a bit:
First, it's called Life of Brian Mafia, but that may be a bit of a misnomer. It will be based on the Mafia rules, but in fitting with the theme the setup will be drastically altered; so much so that the term "Mafia" might not apply.
Further, I make no claims to any sort of balance within the game. My first priority with the setup will be humor; making a playable game will only come second (although I do intend for it to be playable; I'm not that sadistic).
Lastly, I probably cannot run the game as I'm currently envisioning it with fewer than fifteen players. Some of the ideas I'm tossing around will require substantially more players than that; so, I need a pretty good idea how many people want to join before I start writing the roles.
At any rate, the game will not start until late next week at the earliest, and may be postponed indefinitely if no one is interested. This is not a signup thread, only a survey of interest so that I know if it will be worthwhile to start the game. That said, if you post here, please don't cop out of the game itself.
