Man City vs. Everton (Week 6)
Everton have won on their last four visits to City, so City fans were nervous. Mario Balotelli opened up the scoring when his deflected shot went in on the 17th minute. Then 10 minutes later Man City doubled their lead when James Milner scored from David Silva's sublime pass. Everton tried to pull one back but the half time whistle left Manchester City two goals up. Everton started the second where they left off and scored 5 minutes after the break with Tim Cahill's header. Man City realised there lead was at threat and held Everton out. Quarter of an hour later, Man City restored there two goal lead when Samuel Nasri had a beautiful shot which left a floundering Tim Howard on the floor. And on the 75th minute Man City put the game safe when Balotelli found a well-placed second goal. With just 5 minutes left, Silva put the icing on the cake wth a little help of the woodwork. Full-time Score Man City 5-1 Everton.
Arsenal vs. Bolton (Week 6)
Robin van Persie scored his 99th and 100th goals for Arsenal in today's fixture. He carefully slotted home the opener in the 21st minute. Arsenal were brought back to reality when Theo Walcott limped off having felt a sharp pain in his knee. He joins Yossi Benayoun, Jack Wilshere and Thomas Vermaelen on Arsenal's injury list. Van Persie scored his 100th goal for Arsenal with just 20 minutes to go when he turned in Gervinho's cross. Bolton's 49 year wait for a win at Arsenal continues. Arsenal 2-0 Bolton.
Chelsea vs. Swansea (Week 6)
Fernando Torres scored early on as Chelsea's hunt for a win this season looked like it could be over. Torres' afternoon then became torrid
as he got a straight red card. The game proved to be fairly lackluster from there on as Chelsea defended a one goal win. Despite the pace of the game Chelsea doubled there lead on 75 minutes when Brazilian striker Ramiers found the net when Ashley Cole picked out the advancing Ramires on the edge of the area and he coolly slotted the ball through the legs of Vorm. Chelsea 2-0 Swansea 
Liverpool vs. Wolves (Week 6)
Steven Gerrard made his first appearance for six month after suffering from a groin injury while Wolves started with a 4-5-1 formation - the first time this season. Liverpool snatched the lead in fortuitous style in the 12th minute when Adam's 25 yard shot was deflected off Wolves' skipper Roger Johnson. Liverpool provided little entertainment for the rest of the half and Wolves had a few attacks but nothing came of it. In the second half, Wolves equalised, when sub, Fletcher, shot in from eight yards; after Hunt's cut-back with Reina and Martin Skrtel getting in each other's way. Liverpool retook the lead in the 63rd minute when Enrique's chipped pass over the top was met by a perfectly timed run by Suarez, who twisted and turned to leave Christophe Berra struggling before firing in from eight yards. Andy Carroll fruitless season improved when he put the final goal in with an easy header. Liverpool 3-1 Wolves.
Newcastle vs. Blackburn (Week 6)
Demba Ba scored his first hat-trick in English football in a thrilling encounter with Blackburn. He scored his first in just over 10 minutes when Fabricio Coloccini sent Leon Best down the left wing where he crossed for Ba, who turned and fired a fierce shot past Rovers keeper Paul Robinson. Blackburn soon equalised when Olsson's cross found Hoilett, who got the ball under control and lashed it into the roof of the net. Demba Ba found his second goal before the end of the half when Ba headed Cheik Tiote's ball towards goal, and strike partner Best, defender Dann and goalkeeper Robinson all failed to get a touch: and it went in. Despite protest from Rovers who felt Best fouled Dann, who went off injured, and Olsson was booked for complaining to the referee. Blackburn brought it back to two-two when Olsson sliding into the box got a touch and went flying into the corner of the net. Newcastle restored there lead for the third time as Demba Ba rounded off his hat-trick when Jason Lowe failed to clear Steven Taylor's header across goal and Ba pounced to finish off his hat-trick. Olsson found his second when a lucky bounce of his shin off Michel Salgado's cross. Newcastle 3-3 Blackburn.
West Brom vs. Fulham (Week 6)
A dull game were chances were few and far between. West Brom 0-0 Fulham.
Wigan vs. Tottenham (Week 6)
Tottenham scored early on when Gareth Bale rose above the rest to nod in and Wigan fans feared they were in for a 9-1 defeat of 2009 and Wigan looked like they would be on a page of there own on the teletext. Wigan equalised when Stam charged down Benoit Assou-Ekotto's attempted clearance and the ball came back to him. He found Diame, who held off Younes Kaboul with some neat footwork before driving a low shot inside the left-hand post. and picked up their second point of the season. Wigan 1-1 Tottenham.
Stoke vs. Man Utd (Week 6)
Man Utd scored inside twenty minutes to take the lead at the Brit when a one-two with Fletcher allowed Nani to shift the ball onto his left foot before caressing his shot beyond Begovic. Stoke looked like they were going to hold out but Man Utd put a second in when Giggs very nearly squandered an open goal. Stoke 0-2 Man Utd.
QPR vs. Aston Villa (Week 6)
Aston Villa scored early on in a dull game at Loftus Road. Bannan netting a penalty was his first goal of the season gave Aston Villa the lead and the match. QPR 0-1 Aston Villa.
Norwich vs. Sunderland (Week 6)
The Black Cats ate The Canaries at Carrow Road. They took the lead early on when a well-struck drive from Richardson meant keeper Ruddy, could do nothing. And Norwich doubled there lead earlyon in the second half when Wickham nodded home from six yards. Norwich 0-2 Sunderland.
but in the last 10 meetings between Sunderland and Aston Villa, they have only scored 18 goals between them so a 0-0 draw would make my build-up look ****. Sunderland lead the opening wave of attacks but were repelled by the brick wall sometimes called the Villa Back Four. But Sunderland found a hole in the wall and went through it take the lead at the half hour mark. Wickham broke the deadlock for Sunderland. The former Ispwich striker had cost Sunderland £8.1 million in June. The goal came when Sessegnon played a clever pass beyond the Villa defence and Wickham raced through and despite the efforts of three defenders he fired across Given into the bottom right-hand corner. This makes him the youngest player to score this season in the Premier League at 18 years and 212 days old. Villa's wall defense returned and the possession was split for the rest of the half. In the second half, Sunderland were like a bat out of hell and scored. Sessegnon scored for the second match in succession. The chance came from another Larsson free-kick and the midfielder headed past Given from six yards out to double the Black Cats lead. The game looked safe but Villa pushed for a comeback and when Petrov scored with a superb long-range effort on 85 minutes. But it ended up being too little too late. Sunderland 2-1 Aston Villa. 
. Everton doubled their lead in the 53rd, they broke Wolves's resistance when Baines tucked in from 12 yards after Moss had pointed to the spot. They made 3-0 with 20 minutes left - Saha chipped an incoming Wayne Hennessey to put the game safe. Or so Everton thought, Fellaini was penalised for a trip on Edwards and Hunt calmly stepping up to score his second league goal of the season to make it 3-1 in the 77th (pictured). The comeback of the season appeared to be on the cards when Wolves scored again, Stephen Ward whipped in a cross and Doyle punished from 6 yards out in the 86th minute. Alas, it was too little to late. Everton 3-2 Wolves.
