Well, as noted in the game chat Game 8429044 there, I screwed up, and sent an invite to either the wrong player, or to one too many players, for that game.

Effectively, ga7 is playing in benga's spot in that game. Unfortunately, I can't just give benga the spot of ga7 in the game ga7 was SUPPOSED to be in, because benga's already in that one.

So:
1> Game 8429044 is null and void. Sorry about that.
2> ga7 has been sent an invite to the appropriate game.
3> Game 8435559 will Replace Game 8429044. I'm sending out direct invites to it, IN THE ORDER PLAYERS JOINED THE DEAD GAME. benga will recieve ga7's slot.

I'm terribly sorry about this. Yeah, I know it's not a surprise, it's happened before, and in other tournaments... but it always chaps me when *I* screw it up.

25 games/35% of points complete for the Finals Round. 358 points scored by 9 players... scores currently range from 22 to 56.5...

News: poguemahone seems to have deadbeated (deadbeaten?) every game he was in on the site, cause unknown. He doesn't seem to be in a clan, and didn't leave any significant posts in his social usergroups. If anyone has any information, please forward it. I hope everything is okay.

All games have been made and are running... so there won't be anyone moving up to take his place. This WILL have some warping effect on the scores, I'm sure you've already all seen it in the games. I'm sorry, but there's not a lot I can do about it.


We're currently at 34/54 complete, and just over 54% of the points in. (564/1035) Scores, exclusive of poguemahone (25), now range from 36.5 to 93.

TL;DR: Tweo people moved trivially in the standings - it had no effect on the progress of the tournament.

Okay... I've been holding off reporting final TPA standings, because I found an... *ahem* error in the standings.

I'll leave it up on the google doc, so people can see what I did.

EXPLANATION: the formula for getting a person's TOTAL score for a round is simple: sum up all the scores in the column above it. For some REALLY STUPID reason, this worked fine in the first 3 sheets, and came up TWO ROWS SHORT in the Second round sheet. SO: The final two games of round 2 were not recorded.

With much fear, I went back and checked what impact those games had on the R2 standings...

danryan, anamainiacks, and Paws1610 all picked up points. These didn't affect the standings, as they all qualified for Round 3.

Genoke jumps one spot, from 114.5 to 115.5, passing DresdenSooner.
Timmins gains 3 points, tying him with Kinnison.
Blinkadyblink gained a point, but did not move in the standings.

The score have been corrected on MY sheet. I'll set up the google docs with a "wrong R2" and a "right R2" sheet after I report the CORRECT results to barterer.

NOW we're done.

And no, I have no idea why I didn't see this then, I even had a damn checksum at the bottom of the pages. *sigh*
