This is a completely standard tournament using the most basic settings in every game:

-Automatic
-Sequential
-Escalating
-Chained
-Sunny
32 players will be required to start.
Round 1 - 32 players will be split into 4 groups of 8 (hence the Super 8 title
). The 4 players in each group with the highest scores will advance.Round 2 - 2 groups of 8. The 4 players with the highest scores will advance to round 3.
Round 3 - 8 players will play one final round of games using the same process. The player with the highest score in the final round will be declared the winner!
*Each round, all 8 games will be sent out at once.* Sorry freemiums but this means you can not participate in this tournament
Every round will use the same 8 maps:
1. Classic
2. 8 Thoughts
3. Discworld
4. France
5. Japan
6. Mongol Empire
7. South Africa 1885
8. USA
Note: These 7 maps were carefully selected to accompany the Classic map because they all have a territory count within 40-48 so that each player will always start with 5 territories, just like Classic. This is to ensure that all maps are sized equally and to make the tournament as standard as possible.
Notes:
1. All groups in round 1 will be completely random.
2. All foes must be instantly ignored to keep the flow running smoothly. Turn your foes into friends!
3. Please be aware of the game load you will encounter when signing up. Each round is 8 games at once, and you may have 3 rounds of 8 games = 24 total games!
4. IMPORTANT: Do not be afraid to contact me if you feel you are being targeted or sabotaged in any of the games due to the scoring system. It is very possible players will analyze the scoring system and bully the top player. However, I will be open-minded and you need to have ample proof in the game log/chat that you were excessively targeted.
