UPDATE - EFSC 2010: Ice Dancing

Postby amazzony on Tue Jan 12, 2010 12:35 pm

I've decided to make a change to the tournament due to slow sign-ups. This will be a 1-round tournament with 16 pairs (instead of 2 rounds and 27 players). I'm sorry but there doesn't seem enough interest so we'll play it out as smaller event.

Yes, please, no partner, pair me with anyone in any game, just would love to play. Representing Germany would be fun, but any other country is also okay - we're not small minded

Hi CatainMoo

We can play as Ireland if you like - have never been there, but I guess that doesn't matter.

Yes, that's my kitten in the avatar, but the little one has become a mother in the meantime and produced the most gorgeous gigantic son.

Cheers

I didn't even notice but tournament is full and some of you have a chance to either sign up as reserves or be part of a very similar doubles tournament: viewtopic.php?f=90&t=105564

UPDATE - EFSC 2010: Ice Dancing

Postby amazzony on Thu Jan 14, 2010 5:36 pm

Lindax made a record by giving me privileges 2 minutes after I asked for them :D

Though, it took me some time to setup another tournament, make scoreboards for this, walk with my dog and eat dinner. Anywaaaayz, we are ready now and games invites with first 3 games are coming to you very soon. At any moment, you might be playing anything from 1 to 5 games, depends how well I manage to keep track of the tournament. I don't have a certain schedule. So, fingers crossed and lets hope that I can keep things balanced :)

Thank you for joining and lets have a pleasant tournament! Welcome to European Figure Skating Championships! =D>

UPDATE - EFSC 2010: Ice Dancing

Postby amazzony on Tue Jan 19, 2010 6:45 am

First games have started very well, only 1 game has a delay but this is entirely my mistake. I've updated scoreboard and gameboard in page 1. There's not much to see yet but you'll understand how it will look like and if you have any questions then shoot :) Most likely I will update both boards once in a week or once in two weeks, depending how fast games and how I find time to gather the results.

UPDATE - EFSC 2010: Ice Dancing

Postby amazzony on Sun Jan 24, 2010 2:02 pm

Actual Eurpeans are over, they were a big success and I'm proud to be Estonian :D

Lets compare actual event to this tournament now. Russians earned gold and bronze medals, Italians took silver medal. That should give advantage to aspalm & Le Rodent and ultraman & reahma or rokmi & komir. We'll see how this tournament goes.

I've updated scoreboard and gameboard. Currently 21 games have ended, overall there's 120 games to play in the tournament.

UPDATE - EFSC 2010: Ice Dancing

Postby amazzony on Fri Jan 29, 2010 7:08 am

Scoreboard and gameboard have been updated with all 28 finished games which makes appr. 25% of the tournament finished in 2 weeks. That makes me happy because if we can keep up the pace then we'll be done much faster than I was hoping :) If we add the 29 currently waiting/active games then we are stunningly almost half way done.

Current leaders are lordnex & Milen83 [Poland], DBanbit70 & Bfunny27 [Belgium] and Joe B. & bethie_k [Finland] who have all won their games (either 3 or 4).

I know that there are several waiting games and some have waited for quite some time but as you are all premiums then I hope it won't cause you any problems. Please don't drop the games and wait until everybody has spots to join them. I'm checking waiting games daily and will send out invites as often as possible.
