EFSC 2010: Ice Dancing
European Figure Skating Championships 2010 - Estonia, Tallinn

3 open game slots are needed to participate in the tournament (premiums are asked to play 5 games time to time).

The European Figure Skating Championships ("Europeans") is an annual figure skating competition in which figure skaters compete for the title of European Champion. The event is sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU), and is the oldest of the 4 annual figure skating competitions designated "ISU Championships". Skaters compete in the categories of men's singles, ladies singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The competition is generally held in January. In 2010, they will be held in Tallinn, Estonia from 18 January to 24 January. (Wikipedia)

As a proud proud Estonian I cannot pass a chance to hold a tournament dedicated to this event because it is a great honour to have a chance to run such an amazing event in my home country. This tournament will not be as magnificent as the real competition but nevertheless I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun!

Changed! I will run 4 different tournaments related to this event but note one thing - you can only sign up to one doubles and one singles EFSC 2010 tournament! So, either Ladies Singles or Men's Singles and Pair Skating or Ice Dancing.

Ice Dancing
This arena is saved for the fun and interesting pairs of Ice Dancing. Your pair does not have to consist of 1 male and 1 female (and you don't have to be Europeans) to enter the tournament. Settings will be constant throughout the tournament. Overall I'll be accepting 27 pairs (like in the real event). Changed to 16 pairs after slow sign-ups.
Settings
Europe, 4-player doubles, Casual, Automatic, Sequential, Escalating, Chained, Sunny.
Rounds (changed to 1 round tournament after slow sign-ups)
Free skating: 16 pairs play against each other.
Winner
Overall, pair with most wins is declared Champion of Ice Dancing.

      How to sign up?
Pick a country to represent (list in 2nd post) and your partner's name. Simple as that! \:D/
If you don't pick it then I will do it randomly for you.

Notes
  • I'm your Goddess and my word is the law in this tournament. Changes might be done during the duration of the tournament if it is fair and is in the benefit of it.
  • Signing up to the tournament counts only when posted to this thread.
  • Foe List is ignored. If you wish to play in my tournament then you have to play with anybody who stands in your way.
  • If you wish to drop out from the tournament then be polite - let me know about it. Don’t just deadbeat.
  • If you need more time to joining games then let me know. I’m sure we can work out something.
  • Questions? Comments? Turn to me either by PM or posting to this thread.
  • Notification list! If you wish to get a message when I launch a new tournament (I'm letting people know ~48 hours after I've launched the tournament) then please let me know about it - post about it to this thread or send me a private message. If you deadbeat in my tournament then I will automatically remove you from the list.
