WINNERS OF "MG'S 1vs1 to Dubs NFL tournament" is AndrewB AND Nikola_Milicki MG’s “1vs1 to Dubs NFL Tournament” with......... SUPER BOWL WEEK - DETROIT vs CLEVELAND One year premium awarded to both winners! That's right, I'll put out $50 bucks & buy both winning teammates 1 year of premium to CC
Just so you can get that WARM and FUZZY feeling you get from supporting a website that you love!
PLEASE READ ALL RULES! show: RULES
Ok everyone, this is not your normal Dubs tournament. I wanted to do a NFL tournament with a little extra twist to it. You will be playing 1 vs 1 games but playing with your partner as a “Team”. You must sign up as “Partners” on the same NFL team, For each player you must pick your NFL Team name, plus 1 Home map and all settings for each player on your team. ALL GAMES MUST BE SEQUENTIAL & AUTOMATIC. ALL GAMES MUST BE JOINED WITHIN 48 HOURS OR YOU WILL FORFEIT! Freemiums welcome but must leave 1 slot open at all times.#1 RULE - GAME ETIQUETTE - SMACK TALK IS FUN & WELCOMED BUT BERATING, FLAMING OR JUST PLAIN BEING OBNOXIOUS IS NOT AND WILL GET YOU KICKED OUT. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL TO OTHER PLAYERS IN THE TOURNAMENT. THANKS Here’s an example of how each week works. Team 1(home team) VS. Team 2 Offense – Player1 VS. Defense – Player 2a - on player 1 home map Defense – Player 2 VS. Offense – Player 1a – on player 2 home map If team 1 wins both 1 vs 1 games they get 1 win in the win, column. Team 2 would get a 1 in the loss column. If the teams split the wins, both teams get 1 in the tie column. Simple eh? There will be all 32 NFL teams with offense & defense for each team totaling 64 players. We will use actual NFL divisions (see chart next post) which means we will have 8 divisions 4 AFC & 4 NFC and there will be 4 teams in each division.Regular season - will be 10 weeks (games) long with each team having 5 home games ( 10 total maps) and 5 away games (10 total maps). You will play the other 3 teams in your own division twice with each team having a 3 home (6 total maps) & 3 away(6 total maps). You will play 4 teams from another division once each, 2 of which will be home (4 total maps) & 2 away (4 total maps). Playoffs – Elimination rounds - 12 teams will make the playoffs – Tie breakers to make the playoffs will be in the following order. Overall record, Division record, Head to head record. If still tie, 1 neutral map doubles game will be played for NFC and/or AFC to break the tie.Neutral map for Playoff ties will be Random, doubles, sequential, automatic, no spoils, chained, no fog. NOTE: In the playoffs the home team (home maps) will always be the higher seeded team within that game. NFC – 4 division winners + 2 wildcard teams advance to playoffs. AFC - 4 division winners + 2 wildcard teams advance to playoffs.Playoff Rounds & Seeding – ALL games set by Seeding. Best win record always plays the lowest win recordWeek 1 - Wildcard Weekend NFC – Top 2 division winners in NFC get a week 1 bye. The remaining 2 division winners play the two wildcard teams. Two NFC week 1 winners advance to week 2 divisional playoff round. AFC - Top 2 division winners in AFC get a week 1 bye. The remaining 2 division winners play the two wildcard teams. Two AFC week 1 winners advance to week 2 divisional playoff round.Week 2 – Divisional Playoffs Top 2 NFC teams play the week 1 NFC wildcard winners. Top 2 AFC teams play the week 1 NFC wildcard winners.Week 3 – Championship Games NFC Championship game – Week 2 winners face off. AFC Championship game – Week 2 winners face off.Week 4 – Superbowl - For this week only Each Team will play as doubles on both home maps and then the WORLD 2.1 - SEQ, AUTO, NO SPOILS, CHAINED, SUNNY. NFC Champion vs AFC Champion – Winner Crowned
show: TIE BREAKING RULES
NFL Tiebreaking Procedures The six postseason participants from each conference are seeded as follows: 1. The division champion with the best record. 2. The division champion with the second-best record. 3. The division champion with the third-best record. 4. The division champion with the fourth-best record. 5. The Wild Card club with the best record. 6. The Wild Card club with the second-best record. The following procedures will be used to break standings ties for postseason playoffs and to determine regular-season schedules. NOTE: Tie games count as one-half win and one-half loss for both clubs. TO BREAK A TIE WITHIN A DIVISION If, at the end of the regular season, two or more clubs in the same division finish with identical won-lost-tied percentages, the following steps will be taken until a champion is determined. Two Clubs 1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs). 2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division. 3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games. 4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. 5. Strength of victory. 6. Strength of schedule. 7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed. 8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed. 9. Best net points in common games. 10. Best net points in all games. 11. Best net touchdowns in all games. 12. Coin toss Three or More Clubs (Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated during any step, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of the two-club format). 1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games among the clubs). 12. Coin toss TO BREAK A TIE FOR THE WILD-CARD TEAM If it is necessary to break ties to determine the two Wild-Card clubs from each conference, the following steps will be taken. 1. If the tied clubs are from the same division, apply division tie breaker. 2. If the tied clubs are from different divisions, apply the following steps. Two Clubs 1. Head-to-head, if applicable. 2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. 3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four. 4. Strength of victory. 5. Strength of schedule. 6. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed. 7. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed. 8. Best net points in conference games. 9. Best net points in all games. 10. Best net touchdowns in all games. 11. Coin toss. Three or More Clubs (Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of applicable two-club format.) 1. Apply division tie breaker to eliminate all but the highest ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 2. The original seeding within a division upon application of the division tie breaker remains the same for all subsequent applications of the procedure that are necessary to identify the two Wild-Card participants. 2. Head-to-head sweep. (Applicable only if one club has defeated each of the others or if one club has lost to each of the others.) 3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. 4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four. 5. Strength of victory. 6. Strength of schedule. 7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed. 8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed. 9. Best net points in conference games. 10. Best net points in all games. 11. Best net touchdowns in all games. 12. Coin toss When the first Wild-Card team has been identified, the procedure is repeated to name the second Wild-Card, i.e., eliminate all but the highest-ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 2. In situations where three or more teams from the same division are involved in the procedure, the original seeding of the teams remains the same for subsequent applications of the tie breaker if the top-ranked team in that division qualifies for a Wild-Card berth.
TIE BREAKER CLARIFICATION- Ties in the win-loss-tie record count as 1/2 wins & 1/2 losses.
Example:
W-L-T
5-5-0 TEAM 1
4-2-4 TEAM 2
Team 2 would win the tie breaker based on their 4 ties are equal to 2 wins & 2 losses giving them a record of
6-4-0
