I'm new to tournaments and this is my first one. I read the Q/A about it and stuff but I'm confused as to how the tournament proceeds...I'm in Region 5 playing 7 games....what happens when they're over and people win? what if we all win 1? What if someone wins a couple? Who moves on and what do they play in? *confused*

Well each tournament is a little different. I'll explain this one a little bit for you.

Each player is playing 7 first round games. At the end of the first round wins are totalled. Any game that goes past 37 rounds won't count as a win for any player. All games that are finished with the 37 round limit count and whoever wins the most out of those wins the region. In the case of a tie we go to the tiebreaker maps (listed on the first post) with the first region to finish and need a tiebreaker taking the first map on the list and so forth down the line. At that point we'll have 7 players left (one from each region) who will play 7 more games on the Finals round maps (listed on the first post). The settings will all account for the original settings of the winning player but the map will not.

If at the end of those 7 games there is a tie the tied players will play a final penultimate game on the classic map to determine the winner of this tournament.

A little bit of movement in the standings and the Europe region is close to a playoff game while the Regions region has eliminated one player from one game and has a long ways to go.

I'll update a bit later but if so you'll have a bit of a wait for the other regions. One hasn't finished any of their games yet. (and has only eliminated one player from one game) so they've got a while.

Gilligan is indeed the champion of the Nations region.

In the Europe region we have our first tiebreaker game featuring luvr and ballenus on the RailUSA map.

Well I appear to have made an error in Europe. I called the France map for Luvr before it was over. If I'm luckly Luvr will go on and will and I'll look like a psychic but otherwise another player could end up in that tiebreaker.
