Davis Cup 2008 [WINNER: Team Spain]

There are 8 teams. Each team consists of 2 doubles teams. In each matchday 5 games will be played in each match: 4 doubles games in which each doubles team will play 1 game each versus each doubles team of the opponent + 1 quadruples game.
All games will be Sequential. The other home conditions (map, cards, fortifying, fog/no fog) can be chosen by the team (but only 1 set of conditions for each team, so both doubles teams in one team have to play on the same home conditions).
Premium is not required, but it is highly recommended, since you have to be able to play 3 games at once.
-In round 1 the 8 teams are divided into 2 groups of 4. Each team will play all other teams in their group home and away. Winning a match gives the team 1 point. The top 2 of each group will qualify for the semi finals. When teams have the same number of points, then the number of games they won will be decisive. When that is also equal there will be a quadruples play-off game (or series of games when more then 2 teams are equal). Settings for this play-off game will be World 2.1, No Cards, Chained, No Fog. When in case of a series of play-off games teams have won the same number of games, then first the head-to-head results will decide, and when that is also equal the round-difference (number of rounds of won games – number of rounds of lost games) will decide. When still equal the number of rounds of the won games will decide.
-In the semi finals the group winners will play at home versus the runners-up of the other group. Winners qualify for the final.
-In the final the teams will play home and away. When both teams win 5 games, there will be a quadruples play-off game. The team that has won most games in the whole tournament will play the play-off game at home. If both teams have won the same number of games during the tournament, then the play-off game will be on World 2.1, No Cards, Chained, No Fog.
-During the tournament each team can make 1 change in their line-up without losing points. Each next change will result in deduction of 1 gamepoint in the round the change is made.
