Canadian Football League - WINNER - Stealth99
Posted: Wed Jan 15, 2014 12:33 amTournament based on the Canadian Football League. 16 teams which consist of the current 9 teams that make up the east and west divisions of the CFL and the remaining 7 teams come from the CFL expansion into the US during the 1990’s. Those teams will make up a south division.
All matches will be a best of three polymorphic games, played as a 2, 3 and 4 to the settings of the home team.
Only setting not allowed will be freestyle, you can have anything else. No one will be allowed to pick the Canada map as their home map as this will be used for the final.
Choose your home map, the map must be able to accommodate all polymorph sizes. The Age of Realms maps and Feudal War for example can’t accommodate polymorph (4) so therefore can’t be used. All games will have a 20 round limit.
Pick your settings, people who don’t provide them in full won’t be chased and will not be included in the tournament.
(ie, manual, no spoils, chain, fog)
All teams will have 7 home matches and 7 away. Winning your division will get you a top 3 seed for the play-offs where there will be a total of 8 teams. The highest ranking team will have home advantage.
Seed 1 will play seed 8, 2 against 7 and so on.
Match-ups – All teams will play home and away against all the other teams within their division with the remainder of the fixtures being against teams in other divisions. Due to the difference in the numbers of teams in each division, some teams in the east and west divisions will therefore play twice at home or away against the same opponents.
For example: Hamilton Tiger-Cats will have two home games against Toronto to only one away but play twice at Montreal to only one at home.
The only division which won’t have this is the southern, where 12 of your 14 fixtures will be against the other southern division teams with the other 2 against teams from the east / west divisions.
