He never seemed very crazy on here to me.

Rather well behaved in person but more importantly, he and his buddy were descent to talk to. I probably talked too much about Edmonton airport and Joseph Smith. I felt like we ran out of time, they probably felt like they finally got away.

We took a picture of our hats and figured one of us should be able to post it. I'm guessing it won't be me.

Yeah, a bit. Just things like when we joined, the TB Stachewhackers, how Doomyoshi's bud forgot his user name. How ArmyofGOD may have proved Alex531 may actually be a girl.

We talked about beer and air miles. Bank cards, Doomyoshi does not have one which is pretty impressive actually.

where did you meet him? and was there a white stetson involved?

u ever go to the cecil or st. louis before they were unjustly shut down? i actually got a 6 month ban from the fucking cecil, if u can believe that.

Never made it to the Cecil, drove past the gravel lot yesterday though.

The Forestlawn Hotel burned down early in the 1990s, arson, a firefighter died.

ohh, i thought the tit & clit was the forestlawn hotel. i moved to calgary in 97-98ish so, before my time. the peeler bar @ the T&C was the best one in town, imo. didn't put on heirs, you know? it knew what it was. fond memories...

Probably a dive bar in a stripmall or one of the French Maid franchises.

They are rebuilding the King Edward but it won't actually be a hotel inside. Someone is building a giant music center hoping to be a part of the revitalization of the "East Villiage". Now that we are in another economic downturn we will see how that goes.

Wasn't the black mold, sewage leaks and clouds of ciggarette smoke integral parts of that bar? Maybe someone will make a vape juice to replicate that "ambience". They can run it in smoke machines.
