Probably not since you weren't alive. However, culturally it has become irrelevant as well. The first World War I movie in this decade was War Horse. The second was Wonder Woman. That's it.

I can't read or write today probably should wrap it up. I might have been going for Paschendale then again would it count? Probably not released to very many markets.

I liked it. It's by Zhang Yimou so there are a few shots where he tries to make it look all arty just for the sake of looking arty, but it's a good film. It's called The Flowers of War.
