Let's be clear here! The Belgium thieves stole the Dutch formula with mayonnaise and called it their own. I went to Amsterdam many times back in the 60s-70s and the Dutch have absolutely the best French fries in the world!
Now fuk off you Belgium waffle!
No no no.

hmm...so he can, in fact, spell it correctly - he merely chooses not to. fascinating. perhaps it is because of his affinity for karel, as they are basically opposing sides of the same retarded coin. food for thought.

Part of it kind of is... part of it is kind of netherlands. If Brussels was located in the french part, this country would have colapsed decades ago. Wonder if it would merge with its neighbours or if they would be 2 independent countries. I guess they would go for independence. The Belgians and the french from the north around Lille and all that are basically the same people though.

Exactly. Historically the belgian regions used to be considered much larger. Cities like Lille and Dunkirk in France were Belgian, flemish even, as was the kingdom of Luxembourg and the dutch province of Limburg. But due to failed resistance wars, they were ceded. Though admittedly Lille and Dunkirk were lost in the middle-ages already, see video.
