Russian Athlete Caught Doping

Throw the rock at him and sweep him out the door.

This is despicable. How low can you go?

I'm a much better curler when I smoke dope first... Nothing surprising here to me at all except that America will actually get a medal in this sport.

Pretty sure he was taking female hormones so he could sweep better. I expect the Americans are too, just haven't got caught yet.

He was taking meldonium. It helps slow down your heart when you're nervous so you can focus. In world-level competition every tiny edge matters.

I'm told the Canadian team uses gin-and-seven for the same purpose.

Speaking of Canadian team, what's far more shocking than a doping Russian is that this is the first time since curling returned to the Olympics that Canada has come away without a medal.

What is not shocking, is that Canada beat the pants of USA in Olympic medal count! Not bad for a country with less people living in it than a single US state.

Per capita, Belarus won more Olympic medals than the U.S. Therefore, the way Belarus runs their country produces the best results for a country.

Waa, my country was banned and my ego hurts

What was that Saxi? Your country was banned for cheating but your still grasping at straws to find a way to spin it into a positive?

There's a new event this year though, Mixed Doubles Curling (one man and one woman) that Canada won gold in.

You obviously didn't read the article you posted, just the caption.

Yeah, I heard all the interviews with the distraught curling fans on the radio. Not just CBC but several stations.

You're right I didn't read the article. There's no way to post a link to radio interviews you heard three days ago, so I googled it and posted the first link that came up.
