...Won a war by retreating...Who knew? 
...My favorite thing about his birthday other than 3-deuces...222...Is the Abbott and Costello movie,set during the 40's and the Amer. Rev. war...During the war Costello is in Washington's army...Has to bring back a letter to Washington...He dies before he makes it back...He is cursed and his ghost walks the earth until the letter makes it to Washington....Well the years pass...Now in the 1940's Abbott is in a house 200 years old...Costello's ghost is there...So is a family member of Washington's future family...Well they find the letter in a clock above the fire place...The curse is lifted.....Up to Heaven goes Costello...When he gets to THE PEARLY GATES...He sees a sign...Closed for Washington's Birthday 
...That's how the movie ends...
