When i go to the bar i drink pbr cuz it's like $2. When I'm home i drink the nice stuff cuz i don't wanna spend $6 ea at the bar.

Also i was once pretentious and wouldn't drink cheap stuff, but then i ran out of money. If i were rich I'd drink good beer all day long. And hang out at the strip club.

Expensive beer is just like any other beer... an acquired taste. Drink it long enough and you'll grow to love it.

And I'm with TG, if I could afford it I would drink nothing but the finest European beer and spend my days in strip clubs/brothels enjoying the hedonistic lifestyle. But I'm poor so I'm stuck with pbr/budweiser and internet porn.

I made beer for many many years....Russian Imperial Stout will always be my fave (for 1 or 2 pints...then yer fukkin stuffed....lol) Do NOT like the IPA's...just too bitter for me. Super popular though. Half our store's micro sections are IPA....amazing.

Probably my favorite beer is a Russian imperial stout called Old Rasputin, but i can never find it and it comes it four-packs. When i was living down south there was a trailer park market that carried it, was the only place that consistently had it.

PBR is rough. Usually, if I'm gonna head down that road, I get a 6 pack of the 18 oz cans. I have to force the first one down. The second one goes down quite a bit easier, but it's still kinda rough. By the third one, they're going down like water. By the sixth one, I've got a helluva buzz going, and I'm either turning it in for the night or I'm walking up to the gas station to get another sixer.

That's why I like more expensive beer. It tastes better and it's more for sipping/enjoying rather than just powering through to get drunk. I don't even really like getting drunk that much anymore. Much more enjoyable to have 3-4 beers and get a nice buzz going then leave it at that.

So in the beer theme, my brother and I have a thing where whenever we get to visit a body of water in which we swim, we always get Redstripe and toast while chillin in the water. Started when we put together a 2 week boys trip to a private mansion in St Thomas for my dying bro in law (who had never been on a plane).....floating in the caribbean, suckin on da Redstripes, mon....kinda shit beer, but, hey....fucking cool.

Love their ads....Redstripe.....helping white men dance since 1928! lmao
