There are no guarantees in life, so NOTHING is 100% safe.

Those vaccinated are:

1) less likely to die of COVID;
2) less likely to get COVID;
3) less likely to be hospitalized due to COVID;
4) and even IF they get COVID, they will suffer less seriously, often SIGNIFICANTLY less so.

Unlike saxi, I will post the supporting evidence.

In a new MMWR examining more than 7,000 people across 9 states who were hospitalized with COVID-like illness, CDC found that those who were unvaccinated and had a recent infection were 5 times more likely to have COVID-19 than those who were recently fully vaccinated and did not have a prior infection.

The data demonstrate that vaccination can provide a higher, more robust, and more consistent level of immunity to protect people from hospitalization for COVID-19 than infection alone for at least 6 months.

“We now have additional evidence that reaffirms the importance of COVID-19 vaccines, even if you have had prior infection. This study adds more to the body of knowledge demonstrating the protection of vaccines against severe disease from COVID-19. The best way to stop COVID-19, including the emergence of variants, is with widespread COVID-19 vaccination and with disease prevention actions such as mask wearing, washing hands often, physical distancing, and staying home when sick,” said CDC Director Dr. Rochelle P. Walensky.

The study looked at data from the VISION Network that showed among adults hospitalized with symptoms similar to COVID-19, unvaccinated people with prior infection within 3-6 months were 5.49 times more likely to have laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 than those who were fully vaccinated within 3-6 months with mRNA (Pfizer or Moderna) COVID-19 vaccines. The study was conducted across 187 hospitals.

COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective. They prevent severe illness, hospitalization, and death. CDC continues to recommend everyone 12 and older get vaccinated against COVID-19.

You should learn The Science instead of merely worshipping The Science. Correlation is not causation.

That doesn't prove Trump voters were more likely to die of COVID-19. It merely shows people who live in counties that voted for Trump were more likely to die. A more rational explanation is this:

- 75% of people who have died of COVID-19 are over the age of 65
- People are more likely to retire to places that voted for Trump (i.e. Florida) than places that voted for Old Joe (i.e. Delaware)
- If people retired to Delaware, Oregon, or Maine, you'd see the opposite effect
- Scientific, Rational explanation: Virus-induced death follows people by physical infirmity such as age
- Superstitious, Irrational explanation: Virus-induced death follows people by political party membership

Fact: Of the 12 states with the highest COVID-19 death per capita death counts, about half voted for Old Joe (New Jersey, Arizona, New York, Georgia, Massachusetts).

Note that the TSA Mask Mandate does not require a cloth mask. And based on the photo of DDS (great photo, DDS, btw), I would say cloth masks are not sufficient; even RED ones are not adequate.

To clarify, normally I wouldn't gloat over someone's illness, and would respect everyone's decision while empathizing with their tragedies, but - by threatening the BioPure with assault - it's Us vs Them and they've justified reciprocal action. It's ethically coherent not to wish someone a speedy recovery if they've been threatening you with assault and, once recovered, intend to continue threatening you.

I have set aside 45 minutes this evening to meditate to ABRAXAS for a bad outcome to this case. That's statistically unlikely but she may earn a Colin Powell Award yet.

Facts matter. The very issue that you misstate facts gives you less credibility, saxi.

But that is nothing new, that you bend and misstate the facts. You attempt to mislead people by such actions. You continue to try to PEDDLE Fake News. Many of us are not buying it and are calling you on your obfuscation.

Obviously death and hospitalizations are the important numbers and the major concern. How many break-through cases are causing hospitalizations? deaths? Report that and I may be concerned if those numbers are high.

I will predict that:
1) COVID will continue to mutate;
2) future mutations will be more contagious, or at least as contagious as omicron and delta;
3) future mutations will be less virulent and less likely to hospitalizations (less deadly than omicron and delta);
4) COVID will become more like the flu, an irritation and annoyance to many of us, but potentially deadly to those who are aged and infirmed and having health issues.
5) As the virus mutates and is transmitted, more will test positive for COVID and those cases will be less of a concern.

SO BOTTOM LINE: saxi's Fake News that the "SKY IS FALLING" is JUST Fake News.
