Is that even an actual clan tartan, or just a tartan pattern?

looool kilts aren't a cultural thing, it's tartan (Scottish) that has cultural significance. I'm surprised you didn't know that, given your close ties to the culture (e.g. someone once told you that your name might originate from Scotland).
Next you'll be complaining about Indian people wearing blue jeans.

Jeans should only be worn by Americans, North and South Americans are both fine…. and maybe Australia/New Zealand.
Anyone else wearing them is absolutely cultural appropriation.

Ralf might’ve gone to Oxford to sweep the floors or mow the lawn.
bigtoughralf wrote:Now that jim has embraced his newfound Scottishness he looks down on the Irish as his inferiors. Sad that he chooses to build walls instead of bridges, especially given the literal bridge that used to exist between Ireland and Scotland.

Yawn.
Kilts are shared by both Irish and Scots… hence Celtic.
Keep trying.
… also missing the whole point of the thread.
Celtic nations
Ireland (Éire)
Scotland (Alba)
Wales (Cymru)
Brittany (Breizh)
Cornwall (Kernow)
Isle of Man (Mannin)

It really is maximum irony that you have Americans like jim and jp4 who spend their who lives playing dress up as a fake Irish person but then create threads like this complaining about how a black guy once wore a kilt.
