Since the Taleban returned to power, Afghanistan's opium production - which had flourished under US leadership - has been cut 80% already:

This has destroyed the majority of the heroin supply to Europe

This move comes not long after the Taleban wiped out a US puppet army that had embezzled billions of USD worth of American taxpayer funding the CIA had diverted to the country over a period of decades.

Trust the Taleban to build a stable and pure society where American bullets could not.

In any case isn't it nice that there are people like that Taleban out there, who make sure there is space for women to exist without being constantly subjected to critiques of their waist, face, breasts etc or having to sexualise themselves for men's approval. Thank you, Taleban, for standing with women!

Saxi and you should definately live in Afghanistan or Pakistan.

Personally I would have liked to visit Persia before your friends moved in to "fix" the place.

Iran's really nice and has no Taleban. 10/10 holiday destination, I'd recommend.

Your real barrier is that you're Canadian. It doesn't mean you can't go, just means you'd have to have a guide the entire time you were there. Same goes for UK and US. Irish master race are of course free to roam the country at their leisure.
