Typical of Dems, a candidate that “checks at least one box (minority)” and is an advocate for their only political issue in 2022-23 (abortion). She (or whatever pronoun “preferred”) is another affirmative action hire (appointee), Meghan did not check enough boxes, even if she is a resident of CA.

She was picked to be a lame duck. The Democratic Primary will probably be between 2-3 women and 1 man. This should split the vote among the ladies and give the spot to Adam Schiff.

Long-time California ties, she only recently moved out of state for her job, I believe. She is actually big with the unions, the president of Emily's List which is the big women's PAC, has tons of Democratic friends and supporters. A surprisingly astute pic.
