Who you gonna call?

Just watched the Ghostbusters sequel.

I was pleasantly surprised. It doesn't have sequelitis.

It does have a cool little story line, with obvious nods to the original but standing on its own.

The cameos by the original cast are just right -- not too schmaltzy, not too trivial.

Special effects are decent, and the acting is surprisingly believable.

Or... maybe Duk travelled through a time vortex and attended the 1940 premiere of the ORIGINAL Ghost Breakers starring Bob Hope and Paulette Godard.
Ghost breaking (or 'busting' to use 80s slang) has been going on a long time, both cinematically and in RL. Even Jesus was a ghost breaker, if the Bible is to be believed.

I have liked all the Ghostbuster's movies but agree that the original is the best.
Afterlife is probably the second best.
