Kennedy running as an independent does place a mark on the Right-Left linear line, showcasing just how far the left has drifted in 60 years.
However as a 3rd choice on the ballot he absolutely does more harm to the repubs and Trump than he does to dems and Biden.

Still, we haven't had a viable threat to the two party monopoly in 30 years, and I wish him much luck and his attempt.

The FBI had previously shut down the claims. In the House hearings, the GOP completely embarrassed themselves by having their star witness say the claims were groundless.
He is an old powerful man but has more sense than most Republicans by strongly supporting wind and solar development, although wind and sunshine happen to be his state's assets, not fossil fuels.
