Have an A&W near that still does drive in during the summer.
50% of my love for them is rooted in good childhood memories, and the other half is their Rootbeer and chilidogs are worth killing for.

McDonalds medium Coke (looks like a small) and 2 hash browns are $6.90.

Hard to pick my favorite fast food restaurants. Living and traveling throughout America, I have tried a multitude of fast food joints.

Chicago has so many different good fast food joints, my mouth is already watering.

Florida has a few, but is disappointing, I blame the management for the sloppy and poor work habits of Floridians. Sorry, but I was in management for a large construction company in Fort Myers and people here have lousy work ethics, but the Cuban immigrants were the best employees.

Tucson, Arizona has many great fast food establishments, including fast food trucks. Love the quality of the food and employees working there.

I occasionally enjoy a 5 guys but it seems like their prices are now higher than any major chain. A large fries is like $8.50c here in CA, and it's a gigantic serving but that's still 2x the price of a large fries at virtually any other chain. a bacon cheeseburger is $16.

You can literally go to a nice chain steakhouse like Capital Grill at lunch and sit at the bar and have a burger and fries for $25 here. Meat ground in house, custom blend, a really legit burger for the same as 5 guys. They have really lost the plot.

Cheeseburger and fries at in&out is $6.

I eat a lot of fast food, but I don't pretend it's any good.

I eat it because I'm often on the road and often in a hurry. All about time.

All of it is crap, but it fills a hole.

No joke - there's a Taco Bell near me where you can get one Black Bean Crunchwrap Supreme, one Spicy Potato Soft Taco, and a medium drink for $14.99. However, if you drive just eight minutes to the south, you can get all of that for $7.99.

Five Guys food was decent the one time I had it but the price compared to what you get is so ridiculous I wouldn't ever go there again.

In the UK it's noticeable how much cheaper McDonald's is than any of its competitors.

If you're concerned about value, order off the dollar menu at McDonald's and Taco bell.

McD. Large coke $1. 2 big macs $5.

Taco Bell several cheap items. You can get a big bag of food for under $10 and go to Safeway and buy a pop

They're not forcing you to buy a $6 burrito instead of 6 $1 burritos

My fave will always be the Burger King whopper. McDonald's fries (yes, getting expensive). Taco bell Mexi fries (can't believe they still call em that...lol) but they are really expensive.

Never seen a white castle. Will never set foot in an in or out.

White Castle is probably one of the oldest burger chains.
They have expanded slowly because they are privately owned by the same family.

The public nicknamed the small burgers 'Sliders' at some point, in theory because they would go through a customer so fast they never stopped moving: the burger would just 'slide' through your system. The company eventually adopted the nickname but came up with different reasoning.

Regardless of that, they are still pretty tasty, and have developed a cultish following with advertisements showing people that relocated to areas without the burgers, and how far people travel back to buy cases of these things.

Also the burgers are small. People buy a handful of them for a meal.

1 of the 3 brands I voted for.

I've never been to White Castle. I'd have to drive three days to get to the closest one.

Doesn't White Castle have a counterpart in the South? Like Krystal or Crystal or something?

I thought you were some sort of White Castle superfan. Or do you just like the name because it has 'white' in it?

OFFICIAL POWER RANKINGS

1. In n Out
2. Taco Bell
3. Sonic
4. Burger King
5. Wendy’s
6. White Castle
7. A&W
8. Dairy Queen
9. Carl’s Jr
10. Long John Silvers
11. McDonald’s

Either I haven’t eaten or don’t eat at the others (I don’t like chicken so KFC and Popeyes are no goes)

I wouldn’t consider Five Guys in the same category
