How Putin Co-Opted the Republican Party

This is a very mild and incomplete picture of the hold Russia has on Trump and the GOP

Almost the entirety of the Biden impeachment case in the House was shown to be a Russian disinfo campaign.

Paul Manafort, a Russian agent was transferred directly from trying to take over Ukraine for Russia to being installed as the Trump campaign director, sharing polls and info to Russia's social media bots and campaigns that could best be used for Trump's first election campaign.

Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former intel officials say

More than 50 former intelligence officials signed a letter casting doubt on the provenance of a New York Post story on the former vice president’s son.

Senate Report: Former Trump Aide Paul Manafort Shared Campaign Info With Russia

Donald Trump's social media company Trump Media managed to go public last week only after it had been kept afloat in 2022 by emergency loans provided in part by a Russian-American businessman under scrutiny in a federal insider-trading and money-laundering investigation.

Donald Trump’s Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG), the parent company behind his Truth Social network that made its Wall Street debut last week, had to be kept afloat in 2022 through a series of emergency loans provided, in part, by a Russian-American businessman under scrutiny as part of a federal investigation into insider trading

Trump being propped up by Russian money goes back decades and has only become more blatant.

New York Times verifies Hunter Biden story two years after intel experts called it disinformation

The New York Times recently authenticated a controversial report indicating President Joe Biden's son abandoned a laptop at a Delaware repair shop that contained emails highlighting his work with a Ukrainian energy company. According to a Politico report at the time, more than 50 senior intelligence officials signed a letter in 2020 arguing they were “deeply suspicious that the Russian government played a significant role in this case.”

They did not cite evidence backing up their claim, only suggesting that their past experience leads them to believe the story, which came from the New York Post and hinged on Hunter absent-mindedly leaving a laptop at a repair shop, was not what it seemed.

The New York Times was not the only outlet to authenticate the New York Post story.

Try to keep up.

Former U.S. spies warned in 2020 that the Hunter Biden scandal had Russian fingerprints. They feel vindicated now.
The Justice Department said this week that informant Alexander Smirnov invented a story about $5 million bribes paid to Joe and Hunter Biden and is also "peddling new lies." Feb. 24, 2024

When former FBI informant Alexander Smirnov claimed President Joe Biden and his son Hunter took $5 million bribes from the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, House Republicans deemed it a key piece of evidence against President Joe Biden in their ongoing impeachment investigation. Then Smirnov was indicted by a federal grand jury last month for lying to the FBI about the allegations just weeks before the 2020 presidential election.

So the House GOP quietly scrubbed a reference to Smirnov's alleged smear of Biden from their impeachment website.

But federal authorities also revealed that Smirnov, arrested Feb. 14 at a Las Vegas airport, got the false claim from his contacts in the upper echelons of Russian intelligence.

Now, some House Democrats tell USA TODAY that the DOJ needs to investigate what leading Republican impeachment advocates like Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan and Rep. James Comer of Kentucky knew about Smirnov’s false claims – and when they knew it – to determine whether they have been implicated in an ongoing Kremlin propaganda campaign.

For starters, we learned last month that the MAGA sleuths’ star witness against Joe Biden, a grifter named Alexander Smirnov, created “a false fictitious record” (according to a federal grand jury), concocting fake allegations against the president at the behest of the Kremlin. Turns out (according to federal court documents) Smirnov has “extensive and extremely recent” ties with “Russian intelligence agencies.”

He’s dwelling in a prison cell, awaiting trial for lying to the FBI.

The guy who was originally tasked by Donald Trump to dig up Joe Biden dirt showed up at a House hearing and dynamited the entire proceedings.

Lev Parnas, a Soviet-born Ukrainian-American businessman who says “I was a Republican for Donald Trump,” was sent overseas at Trump’s behest to find evidence of Biden criminality in advance of the 2020 election. Turns out, he found absolutely nothing – except fake dirt ginned up by Russia.

Fox News declined to cover his testimony. No surprise there. Here’s what its viewers didn’t hear Parnas tell members of Congress:

“The American people have been lied to by Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, and various cohorts of individuals in government and media positions. They created falsehoods to serve their own interests. ... In my travels, I found precisely zero proof of the Bidens’ criminality. Instead, what I learned in that time frame was the true nature of the conspiracy that the Kremlin was forcing through Russian, Ukrainian, American, and other channels to interfere in our elections.”

Parnas testified the only information pushed on the Bidens came from just one source: Russia and its agents, “predicated on a bunch of false information that is being spread by the Kremlin.” Parnas said he never presented any evidence of Biden’s corruptions “because there truly was none.”

What? You didn't hear about that on Republican media? No surprise.

LMAO.

This is a totally unrelated story. You posted about the letter questioning the authenticity of the Hunter porn laptop.

This story is about the Uke business allegations.

You're enveloped in such a feverish delirium of hysteria, you can't even keep your own links straight. I'm dying!
