Comments: The concept is a 1v1 single-elimination tournament to be played on the beta maps released in 2014.

Miscellaneous: Single-elimination, bracket tournament (bracket to be determined by random.org). 48 hours to join each game, 100% of the spots open to sign-ups (in this thread). As this is a 1v1 tournament, account-sitting is discouraged - people who sign up will expect to play the other signed-up players, not anyone else. If deemed inappropriate, account-sitting may lead to disqualification (if in doubt, feel free to pm).

Pirates and merchants is a SUPER boring game for 1vs1.
I strongly suggest you do change to multiplayer. As much as this maps is boring in 1vs1, it is very funny in multiplayer.
Furthermore it is extremely unbalanced in 1vs1 if one gets merchant and the other one get pirate, pirate has huge advantage for the bonus.

For the sake of the 16 players signing up, please consider.

Hey! Thanks for your feedback, appreciate the concern. I know what you mean, but the settings are always the same in my [Beta] tourneys, can't change it.
