Josko's Favorite Maps Challenge VI [josko.ri]
Posted: Wed Jul 26, 2017 9:30 amAfter the series of tournaments on my my favorite map/settings, I decided to organize similarly formatted tournaments with 3 different my favorite maps instead of a single map being used throughout the tournament.
Simple format:
16 Players, Seeded by score and bracket made at the beginning of the tournament.
4 Rounds, best-of-3 games
Premiums only
Each round played on 3 Maps, 1 game on each Map:
Poly(2), City Mogul, Automatic, Sequential, Nuclear, Adjacent, Fog, Trench, Round Limit 50
Poly(3), Stalingrad, Automatic, Sequential, No Spoils, Chained, Fog, Round Limit 30
Poly(4), Hive, Automatic, Sequential, Zombie, Unlimited, Fog, Round Limit 20
Additional award: Clean Sheet GA Medal:
Given the complexity of maps and variety of settings in the tournament, from Special bonuses map to Huge map and map with bombardment options, from Chained to Adjacent and Unlimited fort, From Zombie to Nuclear and No spoils, with 3 various Round Limits, the challenge is quite competitive and challenging in terms of being undefeated during the whole tournament. Therefore, if the winner of the tournament wins it with clean sheet 12-0 record, he/she will additionally receive a General Achievement Medal.
