so, since I won 2 I'm picking 2 settings from the games I won and the round limits? I'll go with 30 rounds for both, Nuclear, fog on 1 and flat, adjacent on the other.
I'm getting a few responses that are not quite what is needed. Maybe I haven't explained this very well.
There are three basic game types in the first movement. The three games are: CC default (sunny escalating chained no fog no trench) Strategist (flat rate adjacent sunny trench) Secret Agent (nuclear foggy parachute no trench)
When you win one of these, you can choose two settings to change, and at least two have to stay the same. So, if you won the Strategist game, you could (for instance) change the spoils to nuclear and change the forts to unlimited, but then you would have to keep sunny and trench the same. Or, you could go foggy and no trench, but then you would have to keep flat rate and adjacent the same. Change a maximum of two settings, and keep at least two the same.
You can also choose to change fewer than two settings. Several players have said "no change" and that is fine.
You can also change the round limit from the default 30 to 20 or 50, but that doesn't count against your maximum.
Ok my bad there. I guess I won strategist and secret agent, so for strat I will go with flat, chained, sunny, trench and for secret agent I will go with unchanged. 30 round limits for both please. Hope I got that right. Cheers, Bent

The following PM has been sent, also, to keep people informed of how this is working:
The Budejovice tournament moves forward to Phase 1, 2nd Movement. New games have been sent out.
Due to conscription, some of you are playing in more than one group. If you get 6 invites instead of 3, don't worry -- it's not a mistake. You have been conscripted to play in another group besides your own.
Conscription does give some people extra chances to win. The conscription list keeps rolling from one Phase to the next, so this advantage will even out over time.
Good luck, everybody!
Muti seems to have left the building. Reservist Awoodness has been called up to active duty.
I also did some small clean ups. There were two reserves on the list, macattacker and ziggy62. Macattacker hasn't been online since March and ziggy was a duplicate entry, so I've removed them. We currently have no reserves.
At 20 round limit with some of these settings it encourages people to sit and wait for the round limit instead of engaging in a game. I will go with whatever you decide but would prefer we stay at 30 or above limits.

Would most of you be willing to reduce all round limits to 20 starting immediately with the next phase?
Sure, if you feel that the long waits are due to game rounds.
Honestly the difference between 20 and 30 would probably affect the trench ones, as Silly King-it put it. And the stacking game could actually backfire if you consider the time it takes for the game to complete. Could happen that most of those actually finish after round 20 and not before... But in what concerns my games, I can say that the pace is just slower, just like casual play. If that happens all around, we'd just have 20 round slow games..
You should also consider that we're in the first rounds and the game load will start to decline as we get fewer players. I guess that starting with round 3 (so some 15 games less), "speed" will start to improve.
