Alternate Realities: Italy
Anyone with two slots available at all times can sign up!

Ever lost a game, just because of a dice roll?
Or perhaps, because you faced a tough opponent too early into the draw?
What if there were an alternate reality, where those twists of fate... didn't happen?

Well, now's the time for you to find out!

Gameplay

The tournament is basically two randomised 16-player brackets, with the winners of each bracket facing off for the final victory.
To be clear - all players will be placed in the 2 separate brackets ("alternate realities"), and both brackets will have different randomisations (using random.org).
If the same player manages to win both brackets, the final game is not necessary, and the player automatically wins the tournament.

The game settings for all games will be as follows:

Map: Italy
Type: Standard
Troops: Automatic
Order: Sequential
Spoils: Escalating
Fortifications: Chained
FoW: Sunny
Trench: No
Round Limit: 20 Rounds

Update

The tournament is progressing smoothly, with just two remaining games in Round 2.

This tournament saw the most diverse active players in Round 2, with 14 out of 16 possible players still in play at that point, and Tobikera and BrassD being the only players in both Realities. However, as Round 3 is shaping up, it seems that both realities have completely different players still in the mix.

molespe has raced ahead and secured a spot in Reality A Round 4, while the rest of the opponents still battle it out for a chance to win the crown.

Update

The dust settles on Italy, and a new tournament champion emerges. Having raced ahead in some swift and decisive victories over his opponents, molespe displays his tactical prowess and takes the win in the finals.
