Huh...I know I had a tournament in May, back when elon was asking for it...he's since foed me and probably removed me out of spite.

Appears all the allotted tournaments have been setup for the year so just wondering if the "all star event" is still going to be run?

I don't know. No one ever told me what it was supposed to be about, so I'm not sure if it even can be run.
I'll talk to mc and Clive and see what we can work out.

Just going by the schedule released from the start of TPA4 so if it doesn't happen no big deal...

After much deliberation, I have come to the conclusion that the format of the TPA does not produce the conditions necessary for an All-Star event.
Thus, unfortunately, there will be no All-Star event for the TPA4 or for any future edition of the TPA that I oversee.
Unless, that is, I have an epiphany - or, failing that, someone else has an epiphany and brings me their idea(s).

Probably a bit late this year. I have had some ideas about things that could be included in an All-Star event, but I won't even bother. At this point, most of us in the tournament world are already struggling with too many committments. I don't want to put anything more on your plate or mine.

I have edited the "Scoring System" spoiler to provide some clarification (mainly for myself).
This editing did involve a slight change in the scoring procedure in the interest of keeping the tournaments in proportion.
The updated scoring system can be expressed thus:

Major tournaments will have 2,000 points for 1st place; Premier, 1,000 points and Standard, 500 points.

For all other places, the number of points earned (P) will be determined by the following formula which includes the number of players/teams (n) and the player's position (x). Points will be rounded down.

For Major tournaments
If n>128: P = 2000n/128x
If n<128 or n=128: 2000/x
For Premier tournaments
If n>64: P = 1000n/64x
If n<64 or n=64: 1000/x
For Standard tournaments
If n>32: P = 500n/32x
If n<32 or n=32: 500/x

If players are tied then they will each receive the average of the total number of points they would have received had they not tied.

Scores have been properly sorted for TPA scoring purposes. Link to my spreadsheet is also posted there in case you want to see raw numbers.

Any update on this? Is the scoreboard updated? How many tournaments are still ongoing? Any estimation for completion?

Here are the answer;

6 Tournaments are showing without score, because 4 remain ongoing and 2 just completed recently and to be enter soon.

Poker Bidding Tournament 2 was entered completed this past weekend, score to be enter soon.
Primera Division 2013/2014 was entered completed few days ago and scoring is in work also.

As far estimation of completion:

Two Step Dubs has Round 18 out of 21 ongoing. (80% completed?)
Wheel of Fortune has R96 ongoing, 3 rounds to be play after this one. (60% completed?)
You Can Call Me... is having player with more than the half of the letters highlighted (60% completed?)
30 Knots is moving toward the before-last round (90% completed?)

The % of completion showing above is only my personal opinion knowing the amount of game are potentialy remain but TO may have a better number for you .

Prize information (finally) added to "TPA4 Changes" spoiler in first post.
In that spoiler, it is indicated that a General Achievement Medal will be awarded to any player who participates in and receives TPA points for ALL 36 TPA4 tournaments.
Unfortunately, however, there were no such players this season - I was the only player to receive points for all 20 standard tournaments, but I am not competing in the Whee of Fortune Premier tournament - so this medal will not be awarded.
