I'm in! Also recently joined superleague and I've enjoyed it so far - the running newsletter is kind of fun, especially for a new player - now to see if I can actually hold my own hahaha

Looks fun, Im in (and yeah Ive joined).

Not sure if I would have noticed or noticed in time if I hadnt been in the super league. - Im thinking it goes to show that the level of communication has to be quite high to reach the majority of the community. - I get that there are balances and that a number of people dont want or get annoyed by messages they havent actively signed up for, but if they arent there it is that much harder to fill up events even if there is plenty of interest out there.

I leave it to wiser heads than mine to fight over where the balance should settle down.

For my money Craig is a good guy to have around. - As many say in the super leagues: "He may be a nasty baldheaded super villain, but he is our nasty baldheaded super villain". Quite a few of us in there are of course annoying bastards as well, so there is that. Personally I am of course very well liked, but thats mainly because Im so darned good looking.

But enough high jacking of this thread. - Im looking forward to pummeling Craig if I land in a group with him.

Best Regards,
Tiddler, The

I did actually join before posting here - and wouldn't have known it was open to entry without being aware of it via the Superleague - I thought it was something that required qualification, but it actually only required getting to 1600, and finishing a few games in progress took me across that line!

If this is half as good as the Super L, I'm in! I wonder if it will generate more hilarious observations from Craig?!

That's much appreciated Craig.

Hey Shoop,

No problem. Since I included the advert on Friday, I see entry has increased to 126 Players from the 52 who had entered already. It's also great to see Super League Players supporting The Championships, and of course, some even posting about their positive experience in the Super League.

The addition entrants in the last few days mean of the total of 92 of the 126 existing entrants are dedicated Super League SCUDDERS! So like most of CC. The current 303 Super League Players players make up a large percentage of the active players on CC. The number games they are participating in DWARFING all other area's of CC. The fact that they are all happy to contribute to making the CC Community a Positive Experience for all mean Myself and the other Super League Organisers are honoured to collaborate with each other and the players with the aim of insuring The Super League remains as THE MOST SUCCESSFUL EVENT in CC History.

To end on a positive note, do you think 'Lex Luthor's Super Cult' has a nice ring to it?

Keep up the good work Shoop!

Just saying I’m in for fun. Also Craig isn’t a super villain. I’m sure in Scotland they are called something else like Etain.

Im not in a cult....im an individual who thinks for himself....is that what you wanted us to say here to make you happy Glorious leader Craig ?

Joking aside we all know any banter is light hearted and just for fun...id never deliberately set out to upset anyone. Banter adds a lot to tourneys adds meaning and character knowing your wins will be celebrated and your relegations laughed at.

The question you need to focus on swimmer is how you will stop the elite 1v1 trained cult wiping the floor with non-cult members. Ive had two years of intensive 1v1 matches everyday AND dont forget i won this last time. But it will be a tall order there are some damn good players on the list and id include you.

Shouldnt The Championships medals (special type) also be issued here, as they were issued in past The Championships?

With a quick glance, you are not, in fact, in. However, if you click on the auto-tournament link at the beginning of the thread, you could be.

With 118 of the 152 Spots filled to date in this Tournament being filled by Super League Players. That is a whopping 78%. Amazing support from these players since we only made them aware of it on Friday!

But I now feel responsible for promoting a Tournament that I have no idea what the format is. It's probably somewhere and I just cannot see it.

I can see there is a Round Robin of Round 1A, 1B and 1C.
- Are the 160 Entrants split into 3 Groups? If so 3 does not go into 160.
- Is it 3x Round Robins of 160 Players playing each other 3 Times?

I must be missing something as this info must be totally clear for such a HUGE Tourney?

Everyone plays Round 1A, B and C. There will 20 groups of 8, so 7 games each round. Groups will not stay the same and advancement is based on overall wins, not per group.

Hey Shoop

So 21 Games Per Player in Round 1. 96 Players from the 160 make it into Round 2.

Is Round 2 also Rounds of 8 with 3 Groups and 66 Progressing?

It's not clear what happens in Round 3? And the other Rounds?

This should all be explained in the 1st Post of this Forum Shoop. A good Tournament, all participants need to be 100% clear on what they do to win it and their standing in the race when it starts.

Just saying. Lindax should take 10 Minutes and do an explanation of the Tourney format.

Hi Craig,

Shoop set up the auto-tournament, so any questions about the format or other details should be directed at him.

Hey Lindax

The Format is not the problem. It's just Me and other Players knowing what it is.

In my opinion, it should be on the most prominent Post on the Tournament Thread. Which is the 1st Post.

As you posted that, that is the only reason I suggested you post a description of the exact format the Tourney will take.
